Consensus for Ideal Outcome

I get very confused on these forums sometimes. Possibly because there's 1000 different viewpoints. Possibly because people are so bull-headed that they forget to make sense when they reply.

I have a genuine question here - I was going to poll it but it seemed too strange.
What is the consensus for the ideal outcome in 2015. Is it that you will win the court case, with the outcome being that the MMAR is legalized again, and anyone with a medical permit can continue doing as they have for the past X years? Do people think the MMPR will actually be shut down? Do you believe they will go further than re-instating the MMAR and actually change the written laws?

I am truly curious what some of you think. I feel that there are people on here who seem to think that Jan/Feb might result in even better conditions than the pre-MMPR MMAR.

Sensible answers would be preferred, but I know that's too much to ask for.
I would like to have a real conversation about this, not a fight about what we want, but rather what we expect.

If you think the MMAR will be reinstated or the MMPR shut down, I have a bridge to sell you in Mozambique. We'll see the courts pass it on in perpetuity, we'll see Harper call an early election and probably win, again, because Justin's a dipshit and no one trust the Liberals to legalize after they lied about it last time around.

Why do you say he is a dipshit?
Do you know why they didn't legalize it last time?...I wouldn't say they lied, rather pressured by the USA not to proceed.
Yeah that's exactly a lie. But it's just easier to post a lil saying like haters gonna hate rather the add anything of value.

I expect that the rich people to keep making the rich richer and nothing is going to change.
The courts will keep pushing it back n never truly decide on anything.
Whether or not the liberals win wont effect a damn thing and riu will continue to exist the way it has.

So I say to my wife I will pick you up after work....my car breaks down and i can't do it, and she brands me as a liar?
I'm trying to contribute with relevant posts, I will try to reach the lofty mark that you have set Gmack

Gmack did you really think the U.S. would legalize before Canada? I never thought I would live to see the day a U.S. government allowed states to use mj recreationally.
No not at all. Huge news but it's still illigal everywhere federally. Bigger risk being a recreational smoke down there then up here.

That's a cop out. They said one thing to get votes then didn't keep their word. Lies apon lies. Stop making excuses for the liberals.

At the time...I don't believe it was the popular opinion, so I don't see it as being a tactic to get votes. In fact it probably had the opposite effect.
Are you saying the USA didn't threaten to close the border if they proceeded?

Where's your proof of that? And don't quote a politician in your answer.

I also agree this was the case. A little bit of me feels we could possibly look at fed trumping state law before we legalize. Crazy but can happen any minute.

Need me to make it any more obvious? Who said they were going to close the border? They may have said they don't want us to legalize and it could impact trade but who said they were going to close the border?
I don't think they meant it literally when they said it, but the threat was to slow trade and travel enough to cause a financial crisis. Much like sanctions on Russia ...only baby ones.

If memory serves me correctly I think it was very clear what message the USA was sending us.
Perhaps gmack wasn't around at the time.
