im currently in need of some help/advise im 3 weeks into flower and now im getting problem with condensation on the walls of the tent no puddles just dropletts on walls, when lights go out everything bar oscillating fan and air pumps goes out my intake and outtake go out aswell during lights off due to my temp is very cold in the 50's and with them on its even lower, my temp gauge is saying my humidity is 99% used to be 35 - 40% before this started happening out the blue
what can i do to try and solve this problem my set is the following..

2x 600 hps ( not air cooled )
2x 200 hps ( not air cooled )
8'' carbon filter with L1 fan for outtake
6'' for intake

on temp 80 - 90
off temp 50 - 60

any help from you guys would be great

wheres your intake comin from? if its a bedroom or such have u changed the central heating in your house or is there extra humidity in the room. if it was fine before its origin has got to be a new traceable source, a variable that wasnt there. only way i know of sorting the issue is a dehumidifier but thats just a 'sticking plaster' solution, you realy want to find the catalyst.

thanks for the replie, you are correct it is a bedroom and intake coming from air vent in wall as for the central heating the radiator is off in the bedroom its never been on as temps are hot enough when lights on as they are, i carnt get my head around it theres has been no change what so ever set up been the same for like 12 months now so your right is defo a new problem from somewhere

well you def need to fix that problem asap because you will develop rot and mold fast....you should try to feed when lights first turn on so your soil is not too wet by the time lights off andl also like said above it might be central ac but it also might be the time of the year where its more humid and your ac is not taking moisture all the way out,,,,how the hell is your house 50deg??????lol you can get a little heater of craiglist or ebay for cheap and leave your fans running even after lights off that should bring humidity down but if its still too high you will need to get a dehumidifier which will kill 2 birds with one stone since it also will bring in heat...hope that helps

i dont use soil mate, i use dwc bubblers, house dont have A/C, but yes it is a cold house lol, so you think maybe the condensation is caused by the dramatic drop in temps from lights on to off? and heating during light off may help? its just strange as i allready said never had this problem before and nothing has changed temps lights enviroment all the same :S

I dont think there is enough info here to draw any conclusions. Its a fully random occurrence i wouldnt be surprised if you find you have a leak or something in the room you are drawing air from. The moisture must be coming from somewhere and if you havent changed anything that may cause this then i'd be thinking outside of the box to try and figure out whats going wrong.

air is drawn from air vent in the wall and outside wall so air coming in from the great outdoors not another room

right now i'd go for a dehumidifier, it'll sort the problem until you've sussed out the real source , wee bit heavier on the leccy but it'll be worth it in the end.

my parents have a dehumidifier thats not used i can get my hands on shall i use it during lights off or 24/7 how often roughly do you think it will need emptying? i'd say its holds about 2 litres or water its not a big one

put the dehumidifier on constant for a couple of days just to see what temps/humidity and water intake is then put it on a timer , having it on and off until you see a difference. its gonna be trial and effort at first.

No I meant get a heater so that you can have your fans running 24/7 to keep drawing moisture from the tent

right so i have the dehumidifier in the intake and outtake on 24hr, also have the radiator on the room as the temp is in the high 40's without, thanks for your help seems to have done the trick so far, before i altered it the room had a damp sweaty smell which went almost straight away when intake and exhaust went on

if a room has been unused for a while, especially with windows closed or piles of stuff in it like clothes and even furniture, the atmospheric moisture will build up, in wallpaper, soft furnishings, paper, in fact almost all natural products, the heat your putting in the room via your light can will have an effect on it, usually releasing it , it takes time for the wall plaster to release it all. im a painter and decorator to trade and you see the results of that regularly when working. it always a good idea to put a dehumidifier into a room first .saves the fuckin new wallpaper falling off a week after you've done it!
