Concealed Pistol & MM Card

Does anyone have any knowledge about carrying a pistol while in possesion of medical marijuana. Obviously you can't be under the influence and carry a pistol.

Pretty much... you are allowed to do this, but will have to lie on a concealed weapons permit... that you do not use any drugs, as the Fed considers weed a controlled substance. But I know of several that have done/do this. One negative is that it is on file, and should they have a call about your grow... they will come hard & heavy, seeing that you have CWP. Another negative is that if you do get into trouble because of the grow... all the t's aren't crossed... then they can charge you under an aggravated count as you would be conducting a crime while armed. \ Overall, most growers that do this don't want the additional problems associated with the firearm.
