Compressed (commerical) vs uncompressed (homegrown)

So this doesnt apply to everyone obviously, but why the hell are so many potheads, especially older, longterm potheads so clueless when it comes to herb ?

One of the people I interact with is always asking me if I see anything "better" around than the sourbubble, critical +, and blueberry that has a strong diesel odor to it that Ive been growing for the past year...I said sure, come back next week. During that time I tool a couple of ounces of sourbubble and compressed it in vacuum sealed bag for a week. When he came back I acted like I just picked it up, and gave him his choice of either uncompressed SB buds which he has had before, or compressed SB buds...he chose compressed, and now everytime I see him is always asking for that stuff that looks more "commerical"....

Kind of funny...personally, I cant stand compressed buds...Id rather have full, golf ball sized nugs anyday..

Maybe it's because the usual compressed stuff is one of the few sources of Sativa. cn
But the guy compressed the same stuff.

To the OP, I think it's just human nature we usually just want to try something different. If we didn't there would only be a handful of strains. People like variety even if only imagined which is probably why communism never took off.

I saw that, but I'm going on the premise that the customer has always liked compressed weed, and seeing it compressed satisfied something in his mind. Placebo perhaps. cn

It might also just be burning slower being a little more compressed.

I have a completely different process for my own smoke... Everyone wants the weed wet. If I give a proper dry and cure they complain it is too dry.

Basically, if it is dry enough to roll a joint with it then it is too dry.
