Ok so ive had a fair bit of good advice off here regarding setups and ive decided to go for a completely sealed room as
1. no need to vent to the outside
2. i can completely insulate my grow leaving me heat signature free
3. complete environmental control including co2 addition
Im still a little bit off building it but i know im going to run 4 x 600w air cooled lights in my grow tent with suitable sized fans and the hydroinnovations ice boxes attached to the reflectors all connected to a reservoir and a chiller. I think i pretty much know which tent i want and what lights im after etc etc so i kinda have that all figured out. The ice boxes will add air conditoning to the space so temperatures are kept to 75F. Its going to be insulated with 9.5 inch loft insualtion and sheet rocking and i will install some kind of "door" into this to allow me access to the lot
What im not sure about though is my veg room?
Is it possible to have a veg room in a completely sealed environment much like my flower room?
Does it need to be the same size as my flowering room?
At the moment i get a 2 month harvest with my current setup of veg cupboard next to flowering cupboard - id idealy like the same thing...
The only reason i ask is that at the moment im doing it the traditional way of small inline intake fan for air in and larger carbon filtered extraction fan for air out and with an entirely sealed environment... would this still work or would the air for the veg room not be "fresh" enough - my plan is to insualte the entire operation.
