Okay guys, I'm looking for advice on a perpetual grow, I want to produce at least 2 lbs a month, what I'm looking to have is two flower tents one with a 1000w hps, the other I'm not sure, I may want to go LED, so what is equiwantlent in led to the 1000w hps? Then I want to run a big veg tent and here is the tricky part, I want to have plants 2 weeks-2months vegging ready to go to a flower room. So I'm wondering should I go CFL, T5, LEd, or Mh. Keeping in mind the that I live in Fl so temps are always high and a cooling method is a must for mhs or hps. Then I want a seedling/clone area, probably t5's 5500 and 6500 color. Oh and I want the entire set up to be aeroponic. I'm looking for the best place/ contemplating on buying a mobile home, that will not present me with probelms with neighbors, around young kids, and traffic in and around. Could i push each flower tent to 2lbs every two months for continous harvest. Share you thoughts and ideals, be honest! If aeroponics is harder then it seems/is too expensive, I would consider 100% organic soil grow instead.

How many grows do you have under your belt?????


I run a perpetual setup. I use 4 foot florescent fixtures for clones and vegging and HPS for flowering. The florescent's don't make much heat and work just fine for me. If I had T-5's, I would use them. The reason why I ask how many grows you have is simple. If you do not have experience with growing in water you might want to start in soil so you can have a chance to learn your plants without the sudden swings with issues such as nutrients and PH.
I started out in water and got tired of baby sitting the rez. The nute's cost an arm and a leg also!! I am now totally Organic soil. I have been re-amending my soil for a year for under $100. I simply water every 2-5 days depending on the pot size with clear water. Near the end they get some Molasses added to the water.
I grow for me, but I give away a lot. I run around 5 plants in 5 gallon bags at a time in the flower room and pull around 5-6 ounces from each. My lights are only 5' above the floor so my plant's aren't very big!

Yea...to crank out that kinda weight you better have more then just one hps, more like 4. and about 60-100 plants in veg at all times= alot more lights for veg too. Like butchy said..he has 5 plants in 5 g, most likely under that one hps (which is maxing the space out for coverage, I do the same) 5-6 zips, butchy is as good of a grower as I am which is an awesome yield for 2 -4ft bushes. Plant canopy is an issue...you'll have 2 wk apart plants and you'll have stretch on some causing the shorter ones to not get the same kind of light (meaning distance from the light itself). Yes fuck that aeroponics shit, I seen to many nightmares happen in an instant. Theirs so much to learn young grass smoker, so much that we cant explain it all to you in a day or even a week. gl

oldest thread on the forum, read it it will give you some ideas to go on...you would have to double this operation to produce 2lb a month...

i know in FL the laws are really strict and im pretty sure they arent a medical state....you may want look into the repricussions of these actions before diving into a grow that large scale!!

I run two 6hunids in a 8'x8' highly reflective area so 5 plants have plenty of room to collect light! My floor is reflective also, so I have fan leafs near the bottom that grow upside down collecting the floor light

I rotate the tallest plants to the outer part of the room and keep the smaller plants in the center. My lights NEVER get lowered, I just let the plants reach for the sky! I have had them grow above my lights many times but I do not have the reflectors on my cool tubes so there is an amazing amount of light reflecting off of the ceiling.

Get 2 rooms a flower room and veg/ clone room. Youl will need roughly a 2 month veg for 2.5footers scrog style flower 10 15 plant at a time under a minimum of 3 or 4 1000 watts or 6 600 watts.. also a 4ft by 4 bulb t5 for clones and a bad boy t5 for veg and you can make it happen along w a big ac system perfect comditions and no problems

P.s. scrog is not really needes but give you way more even bud sizes and more then your 2lb number
