Commies like Obama

May 1, 2011, Los Angeles - Have you seen this in the media?

Since 05-16-11

Look at these pictures and tell me there is NOTHING to worry about.

Also, tell me where communism has been a success.???

It's amazing what is going on around

the country that we don't hear about in the national news media!

These are basically people who want what you and other Americans have, insist they deserve it, and have been promised by politicians that it'll come to them through "social justice."

Obama's Union Drops Its Mask and Shows Its True Colors

A May Day rally in Los Angeles, co-sponsored by the SEIU (Service Employees International Union), various communist groups, Latino organizations and other labor unions, represents yet another step in the increased celebration of communist and socialist militants since the Obama era began. Not only did the SEIU (one of Obama's favorite organizations - view the linked clip) help to sponsor the rally in conjunction with communists, they marched side-by-side with them, union members carrying communist flags, communists carrying union signs. And altogether there was no real way to tell the two apart.

Southern California journalist “Ringo” was on hand to record the day’s events, and he posted a full-length photo essay of the day's events. Here a selection of those photos. More are available for viewing in a link further down.

When I tell people that public political rallies are more and more being led by communists and socialists, most folks simply don’t believe me. "Ow, come on, you’re just giving decent protesters an extreme label," they say. No, I’m not and would have no reason to. The communists freely and proudly declare their affiliation, and the SEIU, encouraged by President Obama's administration, has no problem marching arm-in-arm with them.

“Smash Capitalism” is a slogan the SEIU apparently endorses and doesn’t mind marching behind. And in case you think the SEIU is some peripheral out-of-the-mainstream organization, please note that...

the SEIU devoted $28 million to Obama’s campaign, making it “the one organization that spent more than any other to help Barack Obama get elected president.” Also, who is Obama’s most regular White House guest and one of his closest advisors? The answer is SEIU President Andy Stern, who has visited 53 times since President Obama was sworn in. It's a matter of public record.

Communists with a capital “C”

Note how the Communists that day (like the women on the right in this photo) carried solid red flags symbolizing their ideology. Keep that in mind as you note the next photos…

One of the SEIU leaders picked up a Communist flag and led a contingent of rank-and-file SEIU members. Everyone was OK with that.

The way you can identify the SEIU members in all these pictures: They’re the ones in purple t-shirts carrying blue-and-yellow signs.

So, as you can see, the communists and the union members marching together with common signs. As the demonstration progressed, SEIU members chanted such slogans as "LEGALIZATION OR REVOLUTION!”

And it wasn’t just the SEIU at the march — other “normal” unions like the AFL-CIO were on hand as well.

There were plenty of teachers’ unions attending too, and they brought along many of their public school students for some good old-fashioned communist indoctrination, as the videos show.

Most of the idiots in the US who walk around with Che buttons or Che shirts do so simply because they foolishly think he’s “cool.” The hardcore communists carry his image not because he’s “cool,” but because he was one of the most radical revolutionaries who ever lived. Right up there with Lenin, apparently.

In order to have a more “civil dialogue” with their political opponents, the marchers made a puppet of a demonic Statue of Liberty aligned with the “Tea Bag Party.”

OK, I guess Hitler comparisons are off the table for now — too many people have called it taboo. So what’s second best? The Devil!

Tell me the honest truth: If the Tea Party had marched in a rally behind a banner held up by fascists or neo-Nazis, don’t you think it would have been national news? But the nation’s biggest Obama-supporting political organization marched behind banners like these, and not a peep about it in the media. Hmmmm….

Until recently, the average American has regarded fascists and communists as equally noxious and equally malignant, and well they should. But the drive these days by the left side of the spectrum is to make communism and socialism less remarkable and more palatable. For two years they angrily denied the Tea Party accusation that Obama’s policies and supporters had a socialist bent. But in recent months, as the accusation had started to gain traction, the new leftist position has become, “What’s so bad about socialism after all? It's a very popular and respectable ideology!”

“Imposing’ crime”??? That’s an interesting spin I’d never seen before: “Hey America, it’s your fault we’re criminals!”

The never-ending quest to become king-of-the-hill in the victimology sweepstakes. The higher your victimhood status,

the more politically successful you may become!

So if the KKK were to donate to the Republican cause of ousting Obama, does that make the Republicans racist for accepting their money?

My point? Obama is a Democratic capitalist, not a Communist; Fringe groups donate to political causes all the time...

edit: Neutron, you should really start working on being a little less bias IMO... It was only a couple months ago you posted a KKK members have butt sex with Democrats while they kill your blacks and redistribute your wealth! article... That's not productive at all. Why dont you spend more time debating real issues instead of demagoguing your opposition?

Obama has some really outspoken communists in his administration. Not to mention a confessed terrorist/communist.

Van Jones? You realize that there is no documentation that ever suggests that he is or ever was a communist, although he did sign a petition in 2004 seeking an investigation of the 9/11 terrorist attacks... It was one of those "9/11 Truth" petitions that believed Bush let 9/11 happen as a precursor to war. You know who broke this story? And who ran it even after there was no evidence found to support it? Glen Beck. I wonder why Beck would smear a member of Obama's administration, and why this one? Did you know that Beck's attacks on Van Jones happened almost right after a group Jones helped found, Color of Change, began pushing advertisers to boycott Beck after he accused President Obama of being a racist? HMMMMMMMMMM

Obama has governed to the right of Nixon.
Thus Obama took office under roughly the same political and economic circumstances that Nixon did in 1968 except in a mirror opposite way. Instead of being forced to manage a slew of new liberal spending programs, as Nixon did, Obama had to cope with a revenue structure that had been decimated by Republicans.

Liberals hoped that Obama would overturn conservative policies and launch a new era of government activism. Although Republicans routinely accuse him of being a socialist, an honest examination of his presidency must conclude that he has in fact been moderately conservative to exactly the same degree that Nixon was moderately liberal.

Here are a few examples of Obama's effective conservatism:

  • His stimulus bill was half the size that his advisers thought necessary;
  • He continued Bush’s war and national security policies without change and even retained Bush’s defense secretary;
  • He put forward a health plan almost identical to those that had been supported by Republicans such as Mitt Romney in the recent past, pointedly rejecting the single-payer option favored by liberals;
  • He caved to conservative demands that the Bush tax cuts be extended without getting any quid pro quo whatsoever;
  • And in the past few weeks he has supported deficit reductions that go far beyond those offered by Republicans.
Further evidence can be found in the writings of outspoken liberals such as New York Times columnist Paul Krugman, who has condemned Obama’s conservatism ever since he took office.

Conservatives will, of course, scoff at the idea of Obama being any sort of conservative, just as liberals scoffed at Nixon being any kind of liberal. But with the benefit of historical hindsight, it’s now obvious that Nixon was indeed a moderate liberal in practice. And with the passage of time, it’s increasingly obvious that Clinton was essentially an Eisenhower Republican. It may take 20 years before Obama’s basic conservatism is widely accepted as well, but it’s a fact.
So much for being a communist...

The Watergate scandal was a political scandal during the 1970s in the United States resulting from the break-in of the Democratic National Committee headquarters at the Watergate office complex in Washington, D.C. Effects of the scandal eventually led to the resignation of the President of the United States, Richard Nixon, on August 9, 1974, the only resignation of any U.S. President. It also resulted in the indictment, trial, conviction and incarceration of several Nixon administration officials.The affair began with the arrest of five men for breaking and entering into the Democratic National Committee headquarters at the Watergate complex on June 17, 1972. The FBI connected the payments to the burglars to a slush fund used by the 1972 Committee to Re-elect the President.[1][2] As evidence mounted against the president's staff, which included former staff members testifying against them in an investigation conducted by the Senate Watergate Committee, it was revealed that President Nixon had a tape recording system in his offices and that he had recorded many conversations.[3][4] Recordings from these tapes implicated the president, revealing that he had attempted to cover up the break-in.[2][5] After a series of court battles, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that the president had to hand over the tapes; he ultimately complied.Facing near-certain impeachment in the House of Representatives and a strong possibility of a conviction in the Senate, Nixon resigned the presidency on August 9, 1974.[6][7] His successor, Gerald Ford, issued a pardon to President Nixon after his resignation.

Now that's a whopper of a tale!
No, it's something that the left has been saying for the last two years because it's true; just as Nixon governed left of center, Obama is governing right of center. As the article says, "it may take 20 years" for people to admit it, but it doesn't make it any less true.

The article you linked explains it quite clearly, maybe you should read it.
...An accidental 1970 explosion in a Greenwich Village town house basement killed three radicals; survivors later said they had been making nail bombs to detonate at a military dance at Fort Dix in New Jersey. And in 1981, in an armed robbery of a Brinks armored truck in Nanuet, N.Y., that involved Weather Underground members including Kathy Boudin and David Gilbert, two police officers and a Brinks guard were killed....“I don’t regret setting bombs. I feel we didn’t do enough.”--Bill Ayres. That sums it up for me.
