Commercial blues and purple

Howdy..

In your opinion, list some of the best strains (in seed form Strain/Breeder) that are suited for large yields and superb potency that are very purple, blue, colorful.

Where I live, everyone goes nuts for a purple bud lol. Wan't something colorful and productive to run next to my head stash strains in my upcoming grow.

I prefer breeders and strains to be listed with good uniformity and stability as well. I don't have much room in the OP for pheno hunting at the moment.

Thanks!

I've seen some nice really purple phenos from Sannie's Killing Fields. I think they bred that up to F5 now. Not sure about potency though. Isn't potent purple an oxymoron lol
I've had potent purple bud, but mostly I notice a sweeter flavor.

Personally though purple = bag appeal and most people buying are willing to jump all over it. Just my thoughts.

Potent purples.......Platinum GSC, Katsu Bubba Kush, Jah Goo, Blackberry. But Grape Ape probably beats those if you put yield and bag appeal ahead of potency. Those are elite cuts too, but you can find seed version such as Peyote Purple.

Best smelling/tasting/yielding purple strain I've grown has been TGA Cheesequake. Giggly yet stoned high with a sweet grape Danish flavor when grown that carries over to smoke.

TGA also offers Jillybean, and it's got strong yields as well, look for the orange-velvet phenotype that purples the last 2 weeks. Excellent flavor, anjoyable high, but it has a much faster tolerance buildup than the Cheesequake(not as potent as CQ but the taste can't be beat)

Hey guys, thanks for giving me some great ideas on a few selections!

I see someone has mentioned Sannies Killing Fields. I grew her out, I think it was maybe 4 years ago? But out of 3 fem seeds, one broke by accident when it was 2 inches tall (my fault!), the other 2 turned out to be some beautiful smoke!

Out of the two that made it, one was solid and when I say solid I mean SOLID purple! The other was pretty much solid purple with a hint of bright lime green here and there. You know how usually people describe purple bud as having hues of purple here and there? Well these could have been explained in the opposite as "Deep purple buds with hints of lime green hues"...

The yield was outstanding! On both phenos, as a matter of fact I would have to say that it was in the top 3 largest yielding strains from seed I have ever grown.

The smell was spicy, berry, grapey fuel with hints of incense... The high was clear and focused. The only thing I did not enjoy was the high. It was okay, dont get me wrong but not that potent at all on either pheno. I let them go till I had over half amber trichs and in all honesty i believe the potency suffered due to the conversion of the trichs turning to CBN... I however don't do that shit anymore. I listened to what everyone said back in the day, 50/50 amber/milky. No, if you want the true intense high of a strain take it when you have like 90% to even 100% milky and no amber trichs. The high is all about thc, not cbn, at all...

Anyway, I never got any after harvest pics of her or photos of those 2 KF in there final days. But, I did dig a couple that I got when they were in mid-flower. Here they are!

I also have another photo or two of them I will try and get uploaded later tonight.

In the far back right side corner that is a Super Lemon Haze. Anyone who has ever grown out any SLH knows that the yields are heavy. But look how much more solid the buds are on the Killing Fields and they fill in. Yeah man, those buds were solid with not on gap from the tops all the way down to the bottom of plant on both phenos. I have to get pics uploaded of the other pheno, this is just one KF pheno in the photos.
