Combusted flavor that matches the non-combusted smell

I have an incredible smelling strain called "Twizzler" (by G.A.S. seeds)...I swear in smells like a fresh tangerine when the jar is opened! -exactly like a tangerine! But when it's smoked, the flavor turns into a very interesting flavor -almost like beef bullion or au jus or something along those lines! It's not a bad flavor at all...but it is very unexpected after the way the bud smells by itself.

Having said that, I also have smoked many, MANY "Blueberry" strains over the years and I have noticed that the best examples really do smell like blueberry muffins or pancakes. And when they are smoked, the blueberry flavors also come through.

Has anyone else experienced this?

What are some strains where the smell matches the flavor?

And, yes, I have a vaporizer (Da Buddha) and I, personally, find that vaporized bud flavors are lackluster compared to smoke.

a vape would do that

these smells and flavors, I forget the English name, come of like a whiskey still

different terps evape at different temp, I mean

one reason I too am struggling with my vape

I like a low 315F but the terpes again come off way above that

leaving me slightly buzzed, bored and soon frustrated

One of my favorite strains has to be Kerala, from south India

rolled into a doobie I get all the above action YEAH!!!

unfortunately, you can see from the above chart

I'm missing out on all that flavor action

just setting my vape at 315F

as all that flavor action just burns of

I either gotta raise that furnace temp to get the flavor

or just get used to having flavor-less weed

cheers
