im currently in the market for new lights and i keep seeing more and more companies make use of a particular datapoint (Color Temperature). Can anybody give me insight? There's a light i'd like to purchase however, it has the potion of choosing from 1750K-4000K and i know its K for Kelvin but i need the science, what do the numbers mean and how do the affect my grow?

3500k and above is veg. 3500k and below is flower. On paper.

I run crops using a straight 3000k from seed to cut.

If you had a mother plant you're keeping for years. 4000k. On a crop, 3500k-3000k.

Edit to add; 80CRI, 3000k, CXM22 cob chips.
