Color Temp 5000K Ok for veg?

Id be wary to put much stock in that chart. Ive seen multiple versions of it that are tweaked to fit a brands lights they're selling.

Ive tried to find other charts that are similar to it that would tell me what kelvin is best for plants, but Ive never found one. Funny huh?

i read about a journal a Canadian botanist (plant expert) that its a myth between the 50k and 65k light spectrum being better for growth they actually found that the 50k has a better spectrum of usable light for plants.

use 6500k for veg and 2900k for flowering. best use as supplemental lighting not primary. REMEMBER: light color and light temp have nothing to do with each other. Since 6500k is the daylight spectrum it gives off more blue, which is cooler than the 2900k used in flowering which gives off the orange/red spectrum which is hotter. good info for closet growers.
