Hey guys its me again
Look its not working that well. My dad takes about 3-5 puffs and is saying that he is still feeling nauseated. Does he need to take in more or what. He is very uneasy about getting the buzzed feeling. Is that what it takes in order to take the nausea away.
Kerry
It may take more than one "treatment" for him to feel any effects at all. He's going to have to smoke a bit more than that, too, but he should probably put a few minutes in between "sessions". Take a few hits, wait a little while, take a few more, and so on. He will have to experience the buzzed feeling in order for the nausea to go away, I believe.

Yes, it is going to give him a little discomfort the first couple of times, until he builds up a little tollerance... then he gets 100% of the benifits with only a small percentage of the headyness. Tell him not to fight it, it is ok to feel buzzed, he wouldn't complain from a buzz you get from an after meal sherry. I think you should make it a more positive experience for him. Play nice soft music etc...

Unfurtunatley there is no medical proof as far as I know that says that it will help for nausea, but it should give him an apetite and improve his general wellbeing. If he is allowed sugar, buy some candies and chocolates to munch out on... I find the sugar rush tends to counter getting too high a little.

Your dad will need to smoke at least a joint every now and then... the whole one... If there is a nice park or piece of nature that is private, maybe a friend's farm... it would be nice to have a picnic with him and let him enjoy the riches of nature and seeing it through the fresh new eyes of the herb.

Most of us started just takeing a puff here and there from friends and got plenty goofed... let him progress at his own speed.

If you saw the NatGeo special on Tuesday night, then you know that the Israelis may be at the forefront of medical mj research and use. Its efficacy as an anti-nausea aid AND appetite stimulant is not only proven, but unique in that it does indeed also stimulate appetite. Pop has lost a hell of a lot of weight, he doesn't just need the nausea to go away, he needs to get some calories into him.

I have personal friends who know directly of many, many AIDS victims who are using medical mj to great effect. The science is out there, and there's even more empirical or anecdotal evidence.

Kerry, just be sure he goes easy on it, gets a little buzz. We don't know how strong the stuff you got him is, which is why I personally suggest that he goes a little bit at a time. I assume you both know to hold the hit for just a moment, too, yes? It's not smoked like cigarettes.

I dont know what type we have. Its green and very dry. My source said he had better stuff but was just wanting to see how Dad responded to it. Can you tell me what is the best.

Thanks MR. Ganja

I used it for nausea and noticed instant effects, but I've smoked on and off for years.Has he tried it in baked goods? There's a cooking with cannabis section here. Also, peppermint tea can help with nausea, too.You could get him a vaporizer, I'm sure coughing would make him uncomfortable.some of them are reasonably priced. They do just what they say, make vapor, which is easy on your lungs. http://www.everyonedoesit.co.uk/online_headshop/productCategory.cfm?iProductCategoryID=12

ask your guy for indica, and sativa and have your dad try both, have him continue to use different high quality strains until he finds what suits him best... i really hope you guys can find something for him soon. my mom just had a breast removed to get rid of her breast cancer, and she has chemo coming up in a week or so... and needless to say I will be heavily medicating her...

cancer is the worse thing ever to happen to this planet... it kills me think about it. i wish you, your father, and your family the best... I hope to god that it works out for all of you.

Booyakasha! Here is an article from the ACP (American College of Physicians) and the IMVA (International Medical Veritas Association) endorsing Hash Oil as a possible aid in lessening or even curing certain symptoms of Cancer. Please take a look at it. We've also been doing a lot of research in medical journals about the effects of hash oil and so far there is no evidence saying that it does not work, only that it may not necessarily be a "cure all". But when a close loved one has a terminal cancer they are willing to try anything... And hash oil works.
