Has anyone had any success feminizing plant flowers with colloidal silver to get feminized seeds . I have a strain that I put together that is worth getting seeds from. I would also like to feminize one lady.

Not feminizing plant flowers, but forcing a female plant to produce pollen, yes, several times. I usually always have pollen and/or seed plants going. I've got a plant now that is coming up on third week of CS application. I have two plants in veg right now that I'll be using the pollen from the CS plant on after the pollen is collected.

My info is to spray flowering plants in the second week with colloidal silver in order to get feminized seeds. A little confusing if you should spray pollen, spay male bananas or female flowers that will be in contact with males or hand pollinated flowers. You say you force a female plant to hermie and collect pollen.

Just so others won't be confused...

Colloidal Silver can be sprayed on female plants the two weeks before switching to flower and the first week of flower to force it to produce pollen (verify this - going from memory). This pollen will only produce female seeds since it only has x chromosomes (well, mostly anyway).

CS doesn't directly produce seeds. It produces pollen from female plants. The seeds produced from this pollen and a female plant will be female.
