Colloidal Silver and the Hermaphrodites - not just a great band name! advice please!

Im looking at using colloidal silver to hermie a plant and hopefully harvest some pollen. i'd like to hear from people who have done this before.

i've read that i need to use CS at minimum 30ppm,and also that once in contact with CS the plant cant be smoked.

has anyone used the readily available (and cheap!) 10ppm CS for this purpose? if i use 3x as much, or spray 3 times per day, wont that have the same affect?

Also, this stuff is being sold as a heath suppliment. i read (on some shady suppliment website) that 2 tsp of 10ppm per day was recommended oral dose. Surely you could never ingest that amount through smoking?

NOTE i dont intend to somke the hermied plant anyway, im just curious about what info can be backed up and where people get their info from. im still more inclined to take health advice from a ROI member than a "health suppliment" website!

but anyway, main question... does 10ppm colloidal silver cause plants to hermie?

update / bump

I found a spray at 25 ppm and gave her her first shower today.

the plant is an Afghan Kush Ryder (auto) that had a rough time just after germinating and never got past 2 leaves on the ground for the first month. suddenly it found its feet and at 8 weeks its about 8 inches tall, a bit yellow, but throwing everything into flowering. i dont expect to get much crop from it, so it seems like a good way to try to get some of the AKR genetics into another healthy plant.

i just wonder if its too late to try to hermie the plant at this stage. although its 8 wks old, it only started flowering properly last week.
also need to keep an eye on it as i have 2 virgins in there too. first signs of a hairy pair and i'll pull him/her out, but it wont get the same quality of light as will just have to be on the window.
