Collecting pollen from preflowering plant

I have a vigorous male that is dropping pollen like crazy and hasn't been introduced to 12/12.

Is there any difference in the pollen collected before vs after flowering? Is this a bad sign and should be avoided as a breeding stud?

@xtsho I know you've seen this before. Thoughts?

Depends what filial gen it is. If it's an IBL or like f4 and up ur good to go.
It's when you play with polyhybrids that male selection and sex speed is more important

Great Question, from what Breeders like Mass Medical Strains say it is a trait that should be avoided. As per his advise on selecting males the later they show sex the better the male.

I don't have enough experience to confirm this, but that's what some of the "Pros" say
