Collect pollen without pollinating?

I took some clones about a week ago from my outdoor plant now I’m going to add some
collidiol silver to make hermies so I can collect the pollen for further breeding but I don’t want to pollinate the mother plant or bees to do it so how do I know when the pollen sacs are mature enough for picking before they burst open? I don’t care if the clones get pollinated just the mother plant is pollen good to go as soon as they form? I don’t want any bees or anything bursting them then spreading it

When they split open and are a little yellow helicopter shape dangling. I would keep them seperate and when the males are ready, take a paper bag and shake a male branch inside it. Twist the bag and blow off the outside. Take the bag with polllen to the lady you want to pollinate. Put a branch inside the bag and shake. Repeat wherever you want seed. I do one branch on each plant. I then mist the rest of the plant taking care not to wet the pollinated branch. I end up with a couple random seeds elswhere and fully seeded branches.

Pollen is "good to go" when you see small yellow powdery granules. It can travel great distances on its own.

My experience with colloidal silvered females has been that the "male" flowers we induce seem to have less pollen in them than pollen from regular seed actual males, which can sometimes be astonishingly prolific.

My method for transferring pollen to a flower has been a Q-Tip or a small soft bristle paintbrush. I usually collect the pollen in a small plastic labeled container with a lid and bring it to the lady for the uh "money shot", then I tie a colored wire wrapper around the branch stem near the pollinated pistils and record the pertinent data, date, strain, plant number etc. It helps to record the date, I like to wait at least a month before gathering seeds. Longer if needed.

Why would you not want the mother pollinated. It's not like you can smoke the buds after you have sprayed colloidal silver on her anyways.

What's up buddy?! I took the yr off ....I mean I am doing an indoor one but mostly for breeding purposes.

Thanks guys I actually want to store the pollen for next year use and get some seeds off the same clone that i force into hermie this year. Does anyone know if colloidal silver 1 time a day and still turn a plant hermie not sure if I can make the trip twice a day everyday unless I just wait 20 mins for it to dry and spray again and mondays are out so it wouldn’t be every single day I can go 6x a week and 6x the following week

I recommend you focus the spray on the nodes you intend to reverse.

I think once a day until male flowers became apparent is all I've ever done. One way to find out about the 6 days a week question.

You can cut a branch right before the pollen is released and stick it in a cup of water somewhere safe till the pollen starts flying.
Saving pollen long term is tricky.

I would do that how can I tell when pollen will release? I’ve never collected pollen before.
As for long term storage I was going to put it in a bag and remove the air then into the freezer.
