Colin Kapernick is the face of Nike's Just do it campaign. Old white men burn shoes. Too funny

love it.

BREAKING: Nike had been paying Colin Kaepernick all along, waiting for the right moment. That moment is now, as he becomes the face of the company’s 30th anniversary of the “Just Do It” campaign.

12:28 PM - Sep 3, 20

"We believe Colin is one of the most inspirational athletes of this generation, who has leveraged the power of sport to help move the world forward," Gino Fisanotti, Nike's vice president of brand for North America, told ESPN.

It's funny alright. Along with losing money sponsoring a loser who could't just play ball and leave his politics at home, he lost a good career to become another sky is falling lefty. Now Nike is going to lose tons of right winger feet instead of selling them shoes. Great job Nike!
You are much more convincing as a Nazi boi than a bhuddha one, Nike is gonna bust through $83 dollars per share soon

I'd feel terrible making money from a company (like Nike) who earn their profits from exploitive sweatshop labor. Besides, the only shoe I've worn for the past 25 years have been Asics gel. Nike's version is a pale uncomfortable imitation.

The only problem I have with it is that Nike isn't doing this because they believe in him or his cause. They're doing it only to create buzz and sell shoes.

Frankly, that's just awful.

So your religion of caste systems and untouchables is a superior form of oppression?

Im an old white man who supported him from day one

The problem was and is that the media corrupted his message (obvious sign someone controls the media)

Instead they made it about supporting the troops

As a Vietnam ERA vet, I can tell you many vets (if not thee majority) believe that war is a racket with us as fodder

Our supposed arch enemy is Russia. Compare their national anthem vs our warmongering anthem, which usurped America The Beautiful by the military industrial complex

the Nike shoes that are being burned have already been paid for. they lose nothing. Nike makes some of the best sneakers around in terms of performance and functionality. the only losers in this are the right wingers' feet which will settle for a lower-grade sneaker in the name of politics.

I don't like Nike's manufacturing processes and some of their 'stylish' lines are way overpriced.... but their cross country sneakers are the best every day shoe I have ever owned... give up that comfort while commuting to work, run errands, and live every day normal life in the name of politics ? Fuck that.... that's stupid....
