Cold grow area

What's the minimum temp my plants can thrive in during the lights off period of flowering? What can I do to keep heat up? I'm planning on flowering in rubbermaids and don't really have space for a space heater or anything like that?

What are your temps at? Even if they are at like 50 F your plants will grown, but ver very very slowly. I reccommend putting in a tiny heater. Look online for mini heaters. Here is one. But remember, don't blow right on the plants, and keep an eye on the humidity, these little heaters can dry out your room pretty quick!
Ideally you have a temp over 65. I am growing at 70F lights on, 55 off. As long as you don't fluctuate more than 15 degrees you will be ok. lower temps, slower growth, that's all...

If you really can't fit the heater in there, perhaps try an electric blanket under your container. The heat should rise, and you will be all set. Just remember, electricity and water are no good.

I think it's at about 55 down there, and warms up a little when the lights are on. Sounds like I should be ok. Electric blanket idea is pretty smart I'll have to give it a try if it turns out colder than that. Thanks!

Yeah, 55 is low if that is what it is at lights on. I am gonna try to raise mine to about 60 lights off, and 75 lights on. I have a mini oil heater. I will check it out when I get home today to see if it has worked or not... Cheers.
