Coconut Allergy

Cannot find anything on this. I am allergic to coconut. Not severely but enough I would rather not ingest it if possible. Can I use Canna Coco? Does it get into the plant at all? Anyone know anything about this? I hope this isn't too vague of a question. I also hope I never get stranded on a deserted island full of only coconut trees. LOL! Thank you for any input given.

I would ask a doctor or representative if plants grown in coconut husks could effect you allergy. I wouldn't think so but I wouldn't wan to misinform you either.
