Coco VS soil. Same strain. Planted at the same time. Unreal

I absolutely knew someone was going to say that stupid shit. I edited the post just for cupcakes like you:

"Before anyone says something I only just transplanted the SC on the right this afternoon. The soil plant is growing so slowly it's going to be another week or two before she's ready for the big pot and truth be told I can't stomach the idea of using soil. She's going in coco for sure. Soil is just too dam slow."
I've been using GH flora series with KoolBloom for years, never an issue.

This is the dumbest thread I've seen in my life. You could have used the exact same everything for both plants and one seed could still be twice as big as the other. That's just how shit works when you are using seed.

One of my blue cheese plants is like 3x the size of the others from the same genetics. Must be something magical in the soil.

When I first started out, everyone used GH 2-part with a bloom enhancer like Kool Bloom. Like you, never had a problem. Skunk stunk! Then they were bought out and the rumor mill when ballistic. I switched to AN, full line. Couldn't dial it in, mainly because of stubbornness (less IS more). NukeHeads Nutes has been a miracle nute for me.

Been there, done that. Funky genetics is what I blame.

Not all soil mixes Are the same, a poor soil mix can really slow the plants down in veg, a good soil mix and the plants will grow fast, just as fast as any plants in coco.
Most Growers don't add enough sand or perlite and often need to grow in a larger pot

From dropping the seeds in a cup of water antill the first day in flower 12/12 took 4 weeks
There now 2ft wide and 3ft tall covered in large colas.

Yep, I have 3 Honey Cream by RQS on at the moment. 2 of them are awesome, both plants are way much bigger than the other one and the weed is way frostier. Yet they were all planted at the same time, in the same tent and fed with the same nutes.

IMHO unless you are using clones and 3 different mediums the findings of experiments like this are pointless.

Yep you are correct. And honestly you would need a lot more than 3 clones for this to be considered an experiment, this is anecdotal at best! lol

"so my brothers friend says that if you smoke weed in your grow tent your plants will be twice the size"

I've done it. Before, during, and after, with no real discernable difference in size. If anything,I believe it made them smaller. Lol

this particular 'test' may lack validity, but the superior growth rates of hydroponics over soil have been studied and confirmed long ago. It's not a controversial take, it's just fact. All other aspects (favor, aroma, cannabanoid profile etc) can be debated and argued about, but those were never the point in the OP.
