I post this in a different section but no replies so might have been in wrong area. Can anyone tell me if autos get better yields in coco or in soil? Any input is appreciated, thank you in advance.

You can grow successfully in either medium. I've pulled 4 ozs, total from 2 autos in soil. I have no experience with coco, but I've seen a lot use it with good results.

Tek, what kind of yields are you getting from your grows. You seem to be on top of everything auto. I know you've definitely helped me a lot getting started.

What do you set your ph at if mixing coco & soil, is the growth rate about the same or close to what coco & perlite would be alone, and would those goodies
be dolomite lime and wormcastings by chance, if so what ratio? Sry for so many questions, if these were photos I wouldn't be so concerned as I would have time to correct any issues but with autos cant really afford to jack up. I probably should just get over this hesitating paranoia stage and get on with it and what happens hap pens. But when using autos it's really a 1x shot since you can't clone. By the way, does anyone know if you can use colodial silver on auto's? Thank you for the reply, any other advice is more than welcome, have time, still rinsing the coco and the one thing I do know and can advise on, DON'T NOBODY EVER USE SUNLEAVES PIECE COIR!!! I've rinsed closed to 8-1,9-1 ratio AND still finding pieces of salt! WTF!

Buzzcuz, I'd use tiresias mist to get fem seeds off your autos. I'm doing the same with some Sweet Mango at the moment. I've watched a few videos on you tube and it's supposed to work GREAT. You want to start at give or take 5 inches and selective spraying for a period of about 21 days. Hopes this helps if your curious. Like I said I'll be trying this out once on of my girls hits the height mark, lol... good luck my friend bongsmilie

yield depends highly on strain but normally 2-4 depending on pot size and how hard i push them
im limited on space so ive settled mainly with 3 gal containers and under i just normally expect 3/4 - 1 oz a gal
staying on top of feeds and 2 zips from a 3 gal just barely feeding them

The coco works better for photos just due to the fact that the autos are so fast that it is a hassle trying to keep your medium tweaked and suddenly you're harvesting. Stick with a soil mix and start in the final container. Even autos will try to fill their container. I start in 5 gal buckets, even with autos and they do better in larger containers. Peace and be kind.
