hey, i recently bought sum nutes from my local and as i was looking for a bargain i was pointed in the direction of the atami bcuzz range. i was also told on offer was the coco nutes a+b for coco - but the guy rekons that they are fine in soil as the mediums are rougly the same wen nute free. also the bcuzz range is quite dilute and not prone to burning your plants. i thoerfore trusted my local and went for his suggestion. now i have recently started flowering and havnt had to use any nutes so far as i have been in bat guano and changed over too reg compost on the 3rd potting. im only a week into flowering and a week n half after potting so im not in need of feeding just yet, bujt before i go give em these coco nutes i wanna make sure im safe doing so. thats why i have posted in the more advanced part of the forum in search of more advanced minds to answer my question as upto yet i have had no replies for this question and i am now starting to think that its a daft question and i have basically been ripped off by my local. so could some1 please answer me this question so i can go back to my local without feeling embarresed.kiss-ass
p.s before you answer that, read this from the atami website. it sort of says yes i can use them in soil. but like i say i would like a advanced answer if poss cheers.
Hydroponics Nutrients & Additives
As with all hydroponic systems, it is only as good as the food that you use. It is our belief that some nutrient in some cases give better performance or pH stability than others. However, personal preference and subjectivity rules the day. A lot of the time it's like asking what's better? Red or white wine? Bitter or lager? It depends apparently on what you're eating with your drink! Well, if you believe that, then you'll believe anything. Hydroponics is the same. If you find a nutrient you like and you believe it performs well then stick with it. If you are unhappy with your results then experiment with another make, or a combination of makes and products; you've got nothing to lose.
