Yeah pretty much.
I've been to Panama, and I found a Coca bush and chewed the leaves. It was a pretty good uplifting, but not too strong buzz.
I just want to grow the plant, not extract the cocaine from it.

Yeah, it's comparable to coffee its pretty good too.
An Indian man pointed it out while hiking up a mountain to the cloud forest in the jungle of Panama.
Ha, sounds crazy I know, but true story.
But It's stronger and it does make your mouth slightly numb. It's like drinking a few cups at once.

Have you read into the cultivation yet? Growing them has crossed my minds many times. I'm curious to know how long it takes for the coca leaves to be ready.

i was just thinking about this the other day...
someone was saying some shit about how someones someone is a farmer in colombia, and they were like 'oh yeah he most probably grows coke on his farm'
I had to butt in and mention, "do you have ANY idea how many plants you need, how much work there is to be done, and how difficult it is to get ANYTHING... huge cartels run those operations and USE farmers.. they cant just grow that shit themselves"
