Cobs or QBs

I’m looking to upgrade lighting and trying to decide whether to go COB or QB. My grow space is 36x36x72. Currently running Kind LED 450 and Viraspectra 600. I’ve been looking at either timber grow lights (http://timbergrowlights.com/model-2vl/) or HLG (https://growerslights.com/collections/led-grow-lights/products/horticulture-lighting-group-260-watt-quantum-board-led-kit). I don’t know what would be better for my set up or benefits of cobs vs QBs.

Any other suggestions are welcome as well. Thanks

I run a couple of 4 array vero29g7 bars @320W/bar. They each cover a 2x5 row of 4 buckets. It will give me 1000umol@ 12" canopy running at max power and 450 @ 18" below canopy. The bars work like a single cob fore each plant. I originally used reflectors but they focused the intensity to much and hurt penetration on outer edges. The idea of boards or strips creating a diffuse application of light over the space is a great concept. The simplicity of creating a fixture that FITS your space is the bonus. I think that you'll really benefit from the added power for your space so I'd try and upgrade to a system based on the 320W power supply

You're gonna need a bigger cob setup than the one you linked(only covers a 2x2.5 space) the qb setup is perfect. Both company's are amazing but I'm cheap and always try to save a buck so I vote quantum boards.
Thanks for you reply. I’m actually thinking about keeping the kind L450 and Viraspectra 600 in my big tent (the one stated in my initial post 36x36x72) and running either the timber or HLG in my smaller tent 20x36x60.

Thinking about switching gears and putting the new light in my smaller tent (20”x36x62). Thinking about going w this one: https://www.rapidled.com/cxb3590-2-x-2-grow-fixture/ and rolling with the 2100 driver to push out 225w. I like the similar Timber light, but it’s much bulkier. I’ve seen good reviews on rapidled cobs... thoughts? Thanks in advance!
