yes we can customize our lights but this needs some skills

the burple lights are moving forwards and they are not longer only burple.
the whites are standing still, the only evolution i see here, is more power.
fixed spectrum high power point sources are not the future.

...i saw great results with blurpe lights... ...but with good leds and drivers...

...remember my point its DIY... sometimes its better customizer a simple led/s lamp... only change the led and the driver... sometimes its better go on diy from start on new proyect... lots of variables...

....and i like the blurpe way too... but with good leds and good brands too...not cheap chinese...(my note if we use cheap chinese the lifetime are compromised ...then we need to asume some big fails too...money talk always) i always believe in good leds or brands...
...but lot of times theres a lot of work changing discrete leds... thats why cobs its on fire.... but its not a big problem to me...more work... more diversion... for a factory yeah its a problem...
...its a lot of more easy works with less leds... but for me no problemo works with monos too.. yeah i dont care the work... im on DIY... not in shell ...

...on diy side we can canibalize other comercial lamps ... to go on our preferences...

I'm way ahead of you, this is 4 x CXB3590 running at 50W each. The water passing through is 55F, same water that feeds my RDWC cooling coils and water cooled air handlers.

...my inexpert pov....because they can use better bines of diferent leds... no need lot of power for do that...
...just good leds ...good bines.... and good mix... but heyy... at what prices....
...off course with a lot of more of other things... soft... microprocesor involved...;)

I'm here and I'm making super moves. I have thought about re-inventing the wheel



But I'm on another level @salmonetin I'm thinking of trying it out but my new lights don't need it

maybe you would like to know, 2 days ago i called again the guy from Led-tech.de .... i asked him when he will got he new 120° osram royal blue.
He told me, that he will recieve them in max. 3-4weeks .... then he will be allowed to link the new pdfs(datasheets) for the 120° serie

Im planning to make a pcb at led-tech.de in future as soon more colors are availble, with the new 120° serie.
I want a pcb with different colors on different channels to controll them separately. Maybe you guys are interested too, so we could design it together

Could you narrow the link down more specifically? Are these true UVB leds? Because most just use the agromax PURE UV flour lamps for good uvb. Not reptile bulbs or UVA leds

For some reason it is not letting me copy that specific page? Put the arrow on Products, look all the way to the right and click 20 watt COB under UV.
