COB for starts,clones and seedlings

Tried to do a search and came up empty. Is there a parts list or setup to replace T5 HO ? I'm a stealth micro grower and only have an area for a 2 long by 2 foot tall.

Probably cheaper and simpler to just use LED light bulb replacements. You can make a nice reflector from aluminum baking pans. You cut a hole in the middle so you can hang it on the bulb. I use different wattages for rooting and growing. A 40w replacement is good for cuttings, then you go up to 60w and finally 100w. Or I guess if you didn't want to buy different bulbs you could just get the 100w and put a piece of white plastic trash bag over the clones to reduce the intensity. I just happened to buy the lower wattage ones first so I already had them so might as well use them. I only found the 100w ones recently. I use the 5000k daylight ones but I also have 2700k ones which also work well. I just find the 5000k ones less glaring on my eyes when I look in there and they may keep the plants shorter.

I bend the sides of the pans out a little to make them less vertical. That's why it looks a little beat up in the pic. They may actually work as a heatsink somewhat to help keep the bulbs cool, though the contact is not very solid, just sitting on there. They grow real nice with the 100w ones. This space is only 18" high.

Been eyeballing that waiting for someone to get one and give feedback lol. I might piece together a smaller version of this to replace the two foot T5 in the rack where I start my seeds myself,,,,,,,,,

So 48.7w for $95? Four 100w replacement A19 bulbs are almost 60w of LED for about $30. Four sockets might be about $20. I don't get the selling point of the $95 48.7w Cree other than the drivers probably last longer.

Thanks. Yeah it works for me. For the sockets I just bought the plain ceramic sockets, very cheap, and zip tied them to a piece of angle bar from some old shelving I had. It had holes every few inches so it was easy to zip tie it through the holes. Could also drill holes in top of your box and have the sockets and the hot base part of the bulb outside to keep heat down on the inside. I just didn't want to do that because I put a bunch of other stuff on top of the box.
