Have you tested that COB by itself with the DMM? With and without the wiring? And did you test the serial numbers of the drivers at MW's website?

I tested the serial numbers and it is legit and the driver seems not to be the issue anymore.

I haven't tested the cob by itself.. Still intimidated by the damn dmm! What setting should it be on for the one cob without the wiring?

DC 20 or 200. You should get something. 0 is dead.

Thank you! It's dead.. Kingbrite said he'd send one after I told him what happened. I'll let you know if he follows through. Kudos Fran.

Got a tracking number yesterday for the replacement chip.. He even sent it DHL instead of china post which is substantially faster and more expensive. I'll be getting my LEDs from Mr. Kingbrite from know on. Great prices and I now I know what happens in the event of a damaged product.
