Co2

Ok, I have a room 3m(9)x2m(6')x2.4m(8'?),It is sealed and insulated with a door which closes tight.the room has a split airconditioner in it and it cools the room to 20-24C no probs(its 45C outside). In this room I have a small setup for clones and mothers under t5 s in one corner.I aso have a tent which is 7'x4'x6'which takes up most of the space in the room.In the tent I have 2x 600w HPS in cool hoods ducted to a phat filter which sits outside the tent.I have a 9kg CO2 bottle with a regulator and solenoid valve attached.I have a length of hose conected to the regulator which I have possitioned in front of a small fan inside my grow tent.

Now I have an electric CO2 monitor coming in the mail which only tells me the ppm.(Im too cheep to spent lots on the proper equipment but think I can make this work.)Im currently running my regulator for about 10 minutes every 2 hours in the light hours only.I leave all my fans , aircon and vents going 24/7 because its just too hot outside and as soon as they turn off its easy for the temps to get to 40C,not ccol.

Issues, because all the air I vent out of my tent (including the CO2 )is cooled and then sucked back into the tent,do I need to be venting outside at all?Or because its a sealed environment can I keep it going 24/7?? CO2 is constatly being replenished(once I get monitor Ill keep beter track ;1500ppm)
Also my regulator ,when its on gets fucking freezing ,I mean it nearly gets ice on it when it runs for ten minutes. Is this normal??I was told it could be a leaking seal at attachment but I bought a new o ring and it still does it.

Any feedback would be appreciated,thanks:)

YOur regulator freezes = bad probably a leak, most likely the seal on the inside of the nut. You really dont need to vent outside at all because you have a AC in the room back in the day all this good technology wasnt available so everyone tells you to vent. That AC and the plants eating co2 will provide you with fresh air, plants eat co2/food and release or make oxygen plus your AC is bringing in new air. I personally keep a carbon scrubber on the floor to help scrub any leftover stale air.

Ok but does the regulator normally get "realy" cold ,or cold at all??
No what you are talking about happens to a lot of regulators used for welding and growing. Co2 is leaking out. It's your o-ring you should have a plastic o-ring inside the regulator locking nut. Those crack over time.
Or you could have a bad solenoid. Is the regulator new? Return it if it is. Or they sell things that screw on the solenoid to heat it and keep it from freezing.
