im sure its been answered but can u throw the co2 tablets in your hydro and i know its absorbed threw the leaves not roots but im sure it will go up threw my cups if it does in fact work at all

You kinda answered your own question.

The roots need O2 not CO2 and I would think the co2 would smother your roots....

Someone feel free to prove me wrong....

CO2 is only for Big Time Growers.

You really don't need it unless you have 200 plants in a small space. Otherwise the air has all the co2 you need.

When I first started i wanted to do everything including co2 injection. Was a big waste of time and money IMO. i saw growth rates increase but not by that much.

Go hang out with your girls and breath on them.... Sing to them hehe... they will love you.....

Over the weekend, i used 4 CO2 tablets i got from an aquarium supply shop. Each one supplies 350 CC of CO2 in 3 minutes.

HOLY CRAP!!! First it made my humidiy go way up and increased my temperature by 5 degrees. Next, all the leaves got bigger, and a hair darker. And lots of new growth at the tips where i FIMed. I had to make a bunch of new spikes to keep my existing LSTs secure.

I use the yeast and sugar water method for a steady release, but these tablets, although considerably more expensive-about 75 cents each, they FLOOD the area with CO2 in a hurry.

ok are you in soil and did you apply it to you'r root's cause he's not asking if they give off enough co2 to be worth while he's asking if co2 will affect his plant if root feeds basicly and to answer that you will prolly hurt them BAD if you do, the root's need O2 not CO2 so you would prolly kill them. also it's not if you have 200 plants or 2 it's if your room temps go above about 86 you'r plants will use more co2
