CO2 replenishment

I am currently exchanging air 50% of the time in my 7x7x8 room (6 plants utilizing 6x3x4 of that room). My temps are fine without exchanging that much. Intake is cold but I want the CO2. How many room air replacements a day would one need to do to keep CO2 levels acceptable????

Yeah, no Co2 tank, just cold, fresh air pulled passively through 6" intake on floor by 6" Hurricane on ceiling.

Although not "sealed" it is tight. When the exhaust is not running there is pretty much no air transfer. Got the impression by reading something here that my room probably is good for 8 hours. Sound reasonable?

Not spending the $ now for a decent meter when I am fine as is but just looking to improve.

If you are pulling air from outside you really do not need to. CO2 levels are higher in a living area then other areas unless you live in an area that has certain factories or other things that product large quantities of CO2.

Your level with in a house that is lived in will be higher then the outside air. More so at night.

outside general ppm is usually between 250-350 ppm
indoor living are is usually between 350 - 1000 ppm depending on how many people live in the house.

Anything under 5000 ppm is doable inside. As over 5000 ppm can start to lead to oxygen deprivation.

Sorry extra information that was not really needed.

I would just vent and circulate within the house at-least twice a day if your room is a sealed room anyways. If it has aor flow from the house. I would do with Vostok and say none.

Room is in an unheated pole barn and is getting its intake air from within it... Probably ppms like outside. Gonna cut to 4 times a day. Thanks.

Yeah thought it was a house you were in. So yeah more then likely it 250-350 ppm.could be higher or lower depending on where you are located though. Find a cheap test kit. Find out for sure.

If Dave is feeding his plant C02, then having an air inlet is not required?
otherwize hes leaking air into the outside,
will cost a fortune to run
,...lol
always right vos lol when we run co2 we do it in burst of about 10 mins runs minus when the lights are off but yeah for the whole 12 hours co2 in 10 min burst with a fresh air intake inbetween

The old standard was I believe 1 exchange every 3 to 5 min

if running co2 im in the boat that also likes a shot of real fresh air as well and even though my room is sealed I always inject fresh air to my res that way the roots have fresh o2
just my 2
