Co2 Lung tent . . . .

Hey, you all alreet out there ????? Greeeeat!!!

So here's my idea for injecting Co2 into my grow room. A lung tent.

My main grow tent is 2.4 x 1.2, I plan on setting up a 600mm tent next to it. The 600mm tent will house a couple of Exhale bags and a cfl strip light, I've heard the mass responds better in light???

I then intend to have an extract fan extract the Co2 down ducting to a T, to split it to the two main air intakes in the bottom of the grow tent, with enough flexi duct slack inside the tent to hang it anywhere so as to direct the flow of Co2 directly at the plants. Perhaps even x2 Ts so I end up with 4 points of Co2 entry right on the plants. Perhaps fit the slack of the flexi to the back of my oscillating circ fans somehow, anyone done that? Wire I guess ????

Wot u fink of me plan then stan???

Titan makes a CO2 rain system that attaches to your CO2 line that came with your regulator and it "rains" CO2 on your plants. Way less complicated and cheaper than your plan.

To be fair I have not looked into the cost of a Co2 tank, regulator and all the fittings, could give me some idea please dude :) including perhaps this titan rain system, ball park figure for the lot . . ????

Tank buy on craigslist for $70 all day. Regulator is $90. CO2 Controller/ monitor is $160+. Titan rain tubing is like $16. Total around $330+

For a small tent that you have, get a 5 lb. CO2 tank for $65 at a local gas supply company. A CO2 regulator off of eBay for $30 and a rain system (CO2 laser cut tubing for $12 at the local hydroponics store. That's what I did.. Plus a timer

x2 exhale bags, I've got the rest already you see, trying not to spend more . . . ., laser cut tubing, I like, I guess one could wrap the tubing around the plants branches eh??? :)

Cheers for the insight

I was going to buy exhale bags too when it came to my first grow. But I've heard those bags don't even work sometimes. Besides on this forum, any informative resource will tell you that getting a CO2 tank is way better and more efficient in the long run. Yea its costly to buy one initially but I can refill it for the same price as the exhale bags.

Since you've got all of the equipment for the lung tent, might as well do so. Your description of it sounds awesome and I hope it works well for your grow space friend.

P.S. The tubing is meant for a CO2 regulator and the regulator is meant for a CO2 Tank.

Happy Growing!

There is multiple write ups and reviews showing that the exhale bags don't actually raise the ppm's of the C02. Sell anything you have related to the bag setup and don't run C02 unless you can afford to do it right. I'm not running it for that reason.
