i'm getting ready to move into the upper portion of a house where i have a downstairs neighbor with separate quarters. i am very worried about controlling smell so i decided to go with a grow tent. anyone know if this is a useful tactic to control the smell? Plus i want to run co2 as well, but am unsure as people have said that to control the smell my vent fans need to be on 24/7 to control the smell. This would remove all co2 present in the tent. Any suggestions i could really use the help!!!

Size of your tent? How many plants? Are you using co2 tanks? You'll need charcoal filter on your air out to control odor. You don't need the fans on unless heat is a issue. Note that the higher the co2 level, the higher temp and humidity will get. I would suggest to air cool your lights to control heat so fans don't have to turn on/utilizing the co2 in the tent. In my experience, I didn't have to exhaust the air so I can keep room @ 1500 ppm during lights on. I only renew/exhaust the air during lights off.
