So here is the headline:
US Army veteran who served two tours in Afghanistan has been deported to Mexico.

I was like that is bullshit so I read it and ran into this.....

In 2010, he was convicted in Cook County, Illinois, on charges related to delivering more than 2 pounds of cocaine to an undercover officer. He was sentenced to 15 years and his green card was revoked. He had served half his sentence when ICE began deportation proceedings.

WTF really! This is front page news. I large scale cocaine dealer is being deported for his crimes... I do not care if he did 6 tours...... 2 pounds of cocaine really.....

What do you all think?

I think he's an American who has done more for your country than you have. He was willing to die for the only country he ever called home and deserved citizenship for that. Instead, this man is sent to become some other country's problem.

Furthermore, if you knew fuck all about serving in the military, you'd know how hard it is to adjust to a comfortable, normal life afterward. Even guys from intact and loving families regularly commit suicide. A huge portion of veterans end up with addictions and trouble maintaining gainful employment. For the most part, they get no counseling or readjustment assistance at all when they get spit out from a warzone. They go from being paid killers to being expected to pay taxes and consume products, literally overnight. They see their friends getting blown up and shot and then they are having flashbacks in Walmart.

Meanwhile, opioid producing pharma corporations are raking in billions legally and you don't give a fuck that 60k+ Americans die from that shit a year.

But I do agree CNN is missing note worthy news.

10 years ago the US Chamber of Commerce recommended investment in Africa

Africa will add 1.3 billion people to its current population. Nigeria alone is expected to become the third most populous country on earth expanding to over 300 million people. With 3.3% average real GDP growth from 2010-2015, Africa is one of the most rapidly growing economic growth regions in the world. Along with this growth, a dynamic youth population and rapid urbanization, a new middle class and consumer base that is hungry for American-made goods and services has emerged.

Despite these opportunities, the U.S. hasn’t focused on Africa. With every passing day, we lose market share to competition from China, the EU, and the rest of the BRIC nations. While China has grown to Africa’s largest economic partner, and Economic Partnership Agreements between the EU and African countries are expanding market access for U.S. competitors, the U.S. is sitting on the sidelines.

Meanwhile..

But all are subservient to the Communist Party.

Selling something to another consenting person may be illegal depending on the substance, but it doesn't mean it's necessarily a criminal act. What other people consume is other peoples business, yes?
