Just trying to figure out the optimal spacing if i aant the same amount of light at center of each cob nd between 2.

I have 4 lights and plan to make a square fixture.

How do I figure that out?

I run 4 cobs in a square, 13.5 inches between from cob to cob. Drop-off at 10 inches from center. Meaning, at 10 inches from fixtures center, light diminishes from 10 inches center. If i put my meter at 10 inches, and move closer to fixture, light intensity goes downhill.

1 cob per square foot = 12" spacing

distance to canopy = 12" minimum or you'll get "holes" like @InTheValley describes in his example
Cobkit brother executing it it as usual, apreciate you sharing your knowldege on all this. Same to IntheValey brother and Randomblame, Airwalker much Love to all of ya!
