Hello everyone! My name is Closetgrowth and Iam brand new on this site and I have been tinkering with the grow scene for quite some time now(10 years). I have been growing a strain that I developed a while back called Glass Slipper. You may have heard about it throughout some of the internet sites. I Crossed a Cinderella 99 with an unknown Indica I called "Monster" The outcome was superb, and the final name I gave this strain is *****Glass Slipper***** :) Been growing it for about 8 years now. Anyways, currently I have been messing around with the Sunleaves Organics and Fox Farm nutes and a chemical fert by a local Hydro shop called ecoenterprises. About a few weeks back I went out and built a 5 gallon Bubbler and used the Fox farm nutes on a clone just for experimental reasons.... Wow! Talk about a fast growth rate, and the health!!! Its cool to see the healthy white roots dangling from that net pot, instead of never seeing them when your using soil. The growth rate is unbelievable. At this exact moment Iam currently 32 days into flowering 15 soil grown Bad girls. Iam using a 6 foot light rail Mover with a 1000 watt Hortilux eye bulb, along with a vertizontal reflector. I have used Chemical nutes, along with Sunleaves Indonesian Bat Guano, and Using Beastie Bloomz for the grand finalle'. I know it sounds strange to mix organics with chemicals.. But, I wanted to try something very different on this grow. The strain is my Glass Slipper.. I wanted to show a series of grow pictures with you guys and gals and show you whats been going on around my friends house. This is a completely LEGAL MEDICINAL grow, and we are keeping the plant count to 15(MAX BY LAW). Iam going to do a comparison grow the next round, and see what really works the best. As far as taste,yield,ease.. and so on. So, please stick around. This thread will have lots of fabulous pictures of various growth stages using Organics in a bubbler, and Organics in Soil, And a strictly chemical grow. I have not seen anyone do this before...so, it should get interesting. I will be using these nutes from a feeding schedule like the manufacturer wants us to. I hope to get to know many of you. Merry Christmas!!!! And a great 2010!!!!!! P.S. Looks like my batteries are dead in my camera... I will charge em up and post pics later this afternoon. :joint:

Well, Ill tell ya .... if you after yield, then a chemical approach may get you a tad bit more, but the organic thing is excellant too..Its mostly what your looking for. I know Im gonna get slammed for saying this... But, from what I have experienced and seen, a chemical gig does give you more, as in weight. But, you really gotta know what your doing or else they will croak in an instant if you overdose. I have a few buddies growing out my strain in organics, and these are professional seasoned growers, who cant quite keep up with me using chemicals. Chemicals are not earth friendly I realize and not real good for ya, but they seem to get the job done and fast. If you use the right chemicals...that is. But, the taste of organics ...mmmmmm pro's and con's ya know.. I guess we will soon find out. :) The proof's in the pudding.

 Check out the new growth!! :hump: The clones overall growth in the bucket bubbler is blowing the doors off of the soil planted clones. Root growth is incredible. I dont know... I just may do 15 dwc bubblers next round..Im blown away!!!! The bud growth on all the ladies in the big room is doing quite nicely... but, if they were in a bubbler, they would be so much bigger...I just know it! I aim for max yields more than anything. :weed: p.s. Check out the previous updates...Only 2 days ago...and compare to the latest updates. Big difference 48 hours made!!!

Hello Folks. First of all Happy New Year!!!!! I was going through some old images, and thought Id show you all a Plant I named the "Monster. This photo was sent into Cannabis Culture and afterwards, I won a Seed/Photo contest. They showed this image in there magazine, and Iam still very proud of her. " Pretty nice...I got 4 3/4 oz dry out of this one plant. :weed: This is the Unknown Indica that I crossed with the Cinderella 99(Powerful Sativa). Because of this strain I developed the "Glass Slipper" strain. Been growing it ever since. What an awesome combination. Everyone Loves it. :bigjoint:

Another look at the Glass Slipper Clone growing like mad in a dwc Bubbler... I dont know, I may do 8 Glass Slipper plants in seperate 5 gallon buckets under my 1000 watt hortilux and grow em out to about 4 1/2 feet... This superior growth at the moment is under 2 low wattage t5 florescent bulbs. Can you imagine what this lil' clone will do under a thousand watts? The growth rate has never been this good in soil. I may rethink my whole plan here... This is a GS clone a little over 2 weeks, this includes the rooting process. Look at the difference in size between the Bubbler clone and the clone planted in soil... A major difference. I may go to the hydro store and grab some more buckets and air stones, and say the heck with soil and never look back. Iam just following the directions on the Fox Farm Hydroponics Feeding chart... Total success!!! I can Honestly see big differences each day. This girl is over 8 inches tall already, and getting bushy.

Here's another look at the flowering grow.. 15 plants, About 42 days in, and soon they will be kicking into overdrive. Iam using a 6 foot light rail mover and a vertizontal reflector with an Eye Hortilux 1000 watter to cover this small field. There looking good, but soon these Bad girls should be shaking there groove thing and put out!..lol!! The sativa in this strain likes the added time. The last 3 weeks should be adding plenty of girth. Gonna give em some Black Molasses soon, and give them that final fert. and leave em alone for the rest of the grow, and let the buds soak up the remaining moisture in them pots. They get real sticky and potent when i deprive them of water the last 15 days. Thanks for viewing and Have a great Saturday :bigjoint:

Hi Prebs, How are ya today? No, never topped em. I just pruned the heck outta them, and kept only the thick branching, which in turn gives me the bigger buds. I used zip ties around the upper base of the plants to keep them looking like a nice bouquet. It keeps the branches/plants spaced so that the light shines on em evenly. Have a great day my friend. :bigjoint:

Thats correct. Unfortunately, My strain isnt anywhere on the market today. But, you can certainly buy the Cinderella 99. The smoke is very potent. Kind of an uppy high that makes you wanna do things, yet a little bit on the paranoia/tweaky side..Hahahahaa! It is said to be very strong among new users. It makes me wanna build Dwc Bubblers and opens my mind to new ideas and adventures. Hahahahaa! The Cinderella 99 is known to have an extremely high thc content. I know one thing, this strain is Hardy, and very easy to grow and clone. You can give em whatever you feel without burning em up. A true weed. I have grown out many strains, but i like this one the best. Peace out my friend. :)

Happy Sunday :bigjoint: Well, I went out and did it.. Bought 8 3 1/2 gallon Bubbler Buckets for Veg and an equal amount of 5 gallon Buckets for Flower, among a bunch of other supplies. I have decided to go all the way with the dwc bubbler method, and scrap the experimental thing. Hopefully it will out turn out good. I believe it will. After a decade of growing, I had no idea how good Bubblers actually worked. And here Iam Loving the whole gig more and more each day. I used to chuckle at people using them bubblers, and since I built one, used it...now Iam a worshipper. LOL! To all you soil growers.. Give it a try, you may not look back. Its cool, fast, fun, performs like nothing else, and CLEAN. No more hauling soil yadayada...I surfed the web, and heard many getting up to 6 oz's a plant with a dwc Bubbler. WOW! http://www.weedbay.net/overgrow-thebook/Hydroponics/Art4.htm If this all works out, the plant count will remain at only 8. Here's a few pics to show you guys whats cookin' around this joint in the last 24 hours. Iam very persistent, and because of the GS, Iam not lazy. When my gears turn, there aint no stopping. Wish me luck. Rev on the redline! :fire: Peace out. CG :bigjoint: p.s. Iam using one of my all time favorite lights for vegging, Its a son agro 430(hps).. What a kick ass lil bulb. Its the bulb that helped me win that contest I mentioned earlier. Seriously Rocks :)

 Well, Im all smiles. All 8 of the clones are doing excellant in the bubblers. As far as the clone thats been in the bubbler the longest, The roots are coming outta the net pot like there is no tomorrow. Every morning there is more to see. Instant changes. Another reason why I love the Dwc bubbler so much. Its very entertaining watching My GS grow from the bottom all the way to the top. Plus, I like to tinker with it. Peace out
