So today is day two for my new seedlings, and they have grown quite a bit in 48 hours. The only thing I am worried about is the high temps in the rubbermaid box... About 90 degrees. I don't know how else I can cool it down, other than opening the top so more air gets in.

The flowering plants haven't shown much change, except for my big girl being rather droopy when the lights come back on every morning.

Hopefully things will cool down and bloom up. Light one up for me!:eyesmoke: Some pictures for your viewing pleasure.

for starters stop watering them so freaking much. wait until the soil is dried out to water them. your stunting your plants and rotting the roots. the roots need oxygen just as much as they need water, but the water deprives the roots of oxygen. so you need to let them dry out in between watering.

I watered the seedlings for the first time before heading to work today, so hopefully when I return home tonight I will have some good growth to show ya'll. I am thinking about adding Blood Meal to my Flowering plants, simply because they have been suffering from Nitrogen def. for the entire grow. I also noticed that a phosphorus problem could be showing itself, so I will try to find a reasonable way to remedy that as well.

I water every three of four days, and I also do have a 4" exhaust fan in the top... As well as a 3/4" passive intake in the bottom. The temps are still rather high.
I'm watering every 4-5 days, and have a couple of 4" exhaust fans and two more intake fans. Temps are 75deg night and 80-90deg day, with 40-50% RH.

Leaving the tap water out helps to evaporate the chlorine that is in the water, bringing it closer to neutral. If you have well water, or even if you have good public water, it is always good to let it sit open for atleast 24 hours.

Hrm. Toss me a link to your setup. Do you have pictures of how you have the fans laid out? I'm thinking about just making a larger passive intake... or possably a small fan to circulate air in through the bottom.

From what I understand the PH is altered by the chlorine. And where the aquarium stuff costs money, pouring your water a day early is completly free. =)

Well! It's been five days since my last post with pictures... And since I am up this morning when the lights come on, I may as well get some shots in.

As an update on the plants... I have watered once since the last time I mentioned it, and the seedlings are loving every drop. I find it hard not to water them because the perlite is turning yellow on top.... But the peat moss is still damp. Man do they grow fast when they are small!

So here are some comparison pictures.

This is on the 23rd. ^

And this is this morning at 6:30. Considerable growth. :hump::hump:

As for the flowering plants, they have me quite worried. They are 11 days into flowering, and are still very small and problem ridden. I wanted to wait to flower them, but I'm not sure of the time frame for me being in my current apartment, so I want to get this show rolling. I will have an update for the bigger plants around 2PM when lights come on for them.

Until then. :joint:

So when I got home from work tonight, I broke out the camera to take some shots of the first group of plants.

What I didn't expect was to see two males! Oh no! The worst part is, I believe the biggest of all the plants has sex'd out as a male, which is really dissapointing. Here are some pictures. Any input is much appreciated.

Well, closer inspection seems that they are growing pollin sacks... The 3rd picture shows one pretty well. I dunno... I have had them sitting in the dark all day today... Maybe I should allow them to grow more? I just don't want them to polinate the females that I may have.

Thanks for the interest!! +rep
