my 2¢

you plant is not overly small for its age but could be bigger, looks like you may possibly have a N toxicity issue with your pre treated soil and its stunting growth....

again just my 2¢

oh and PS. a CFL gives off the most light from the side with the most surface area...usually being the sides of the light. its not really rocket science more area = more light......if you have a reflector around the light it dosent really matte because all the light is reflected down.

stagnant water in the grow area has never created a problem for me. I always water my tent plants right in the little removable "tray" and get a shit load of runoof everywhere, i just let it evaporate, it provides humidity which is nice in vegatative growth stage.

to the original poster, the soil you have soubd like it has chemical "time release" nutrients in it so the more you water the more nutes you let off...only water when you need to....just because the top layer of the soil is dry dosent mean the rootzone is. stick your finger right down into the dirt about 4 incheces and if the soil is still "damp" then your fine on watering. you can also lift your pot up and tell by the weight.

yes, i mean i give usualy 2 cups of water per plant and i always have run off, sometimes the big girl will need 3 cups. but there is still im sure a part at the top soil i dont cover since the plant is so dam bushy and im afraid of soaking the leaves.

Ya, he and I discussed that, the 200mg of N.
Ends up it's 200mg/ about 4oz(converted) of soil.
Any ideas if this is the norm for pre nuted soils?

This is what I was using to water mine when it was in the cup and I couldn't get under the lower growth.
I got the syringe from the farm supply place down the road, and put a short piece of 2cycle fuel line (or surgical tubing will also work) on it.
It's a 20ml one, but they do have bigger ones for under 5 bucks.syringe_zps337b24e4.jpg

Why?
Water with a measuring cup around the outside, then use the syringe for the middle, and it fills, empties pretty quick, at about 25 ml per squirt.

ahh i see, i figured the whole process with this syringe would be time consuming :p , thanks chucky

Thank you Matthebrute for your insight. There really is quite a bit of N in this soil. (about 70% to 100g of soil) But it should be all organic as they say on package. See this is what I used: substral.itg.ee/index.php/12850 -you can put it to google.translate for example :) So I think the soil isnt THAT hot, or it would have burned my little ones by now? Do you think I should transplant when I dont see any extra growth in few days? I was planning to replant after they got like 3-4 nodes with more developed roots...

OK, so came home today to do a little check up and what I discovered was that both seedlings have their roots out of the pot! So soon? Why is that?! I guess I will transplant to bigger pot right now. See photos:

DONE. So any tips of how to treat replanted seedlings? Look of all the root mass they developed and how small they are! So what, they were like growing downwards? :) DSC_0053.jpg

I'm kinda curious......... When you were watering before the conversation yesterday, were you letting the pots sit in any runoff that might have come out?
The only reason I ask, is there really doesn't seem to be a lot of roots inside for the bit that was poking out the bottom, kind of like the roots were not trying to grow outwards and down, but just straight down to where the water was.
Anyway, now that you have them out, if it were me, I would go get some plain soil, (so you know exactly what is going in) and get some Perlite, mix 30-40% Perlite to soil, and just give them water for a couple days before you start feeding.

No I just left them in runoff for about 10minutes and poured the water out as u suggested. I planted em in the same soil ad I saw the roots was so well developed, so I thouht it cant be so bad. Or maybe I just paniced :) I mixed with about 30-40% of perlite and 10% vermiculate...

Ok. Time for update. It is day 16 until sprouting from ground. And day 4 in their new pots. Growth is still minimum. Well one girl had grown a little more, while the other one is still kind of "on hold" - I guess the other one just took the transplantation better than the other. Both plants have first two leafs kind of yellow now. And I can see a little bit of yellowing on new leafs also...They still grow very slowly. Still using 24/0 light cycle. I transplanted them on the same soil I used before. IF it is soil thats holding them growing - should I transplant again for third ime!? In all different/new soil? Or should I just be more patient and hope they will start fastening their growth? I water them every other day once as I can feel the soil is really dry and I water them so I have a little run off.

Here are the pictures:

It sounds like you are doing ok now, and no.
Don't transplant a second time.
Quit beating them up, and let them settle in to see what happens.

Well keeps getting better. Yesterday I forgot my window open and left home for ~24 hours. The temp. outside is -10 (minus ten) Celsius. Today when I came back the temp. in room must have been something like 10 degrees. So there you go - more stress for my little ones! The weaker one had its first set of leaves brown and crispy so I cut `em off. I feel some hermies coming out of these? Damn...see what will hit me and them next. Stupid me

The cold temps will put the growth on hold, but IDK if it will hermie them.
Just be patient and quit beating them up.;-)
