Closed Loop Upgrade questions. Tek Help!

So ive got myself quite a set up of extractors from best value vacs. Im currently running 2 closed column dewax units, one 1.5" 1/2lb , 1 3" 1lb. ive basically been running them ass a closed column open blast and Im looking to upgrade this system with a molecular sieve set up, and also to begin running my 1lb system with no material with extra steel barrings and filters only as a true dewaxing column after a 2lb material column. Im SUPER curious as of what i can do to remove ANY excess moisture from my material before or during the extraction due to living here in michigan our humidy can be quite annoying! Im considering running my 1.5"x12" column as my sieve column before the butane goes into the extractor, and also when it comes back into the recovery tank. Do i need to run the tank at room temp before the sieve, and then cool it with a coil before it goes into my material tube or is cold fine? Any suggestions and questions to help me explain more in depth are appreciated and ill answer as quickly as possible!

I would retain 10/15% moisture, but keep the material frozen during injection with subzero LPG.

It is easiest to remove from the butane in vapor form, and bleed off any water that reaches the recovery tank.

Is this an active or passive system?

Mol sieve works, as do zeolite refrigerant filters, which is what I use. They are easier to handle, less messy, and don't have the dust issues mol sieve does. We built our own inline filters using the inserts and support kit for a Sporlan dual #48 filter, but made our own cases out of a 6" X 12" stainless sanitary spool.

What do you mean by bleed off water which reaches the recovery tank? Do you mean filtering/mol sieve? what is sporlan dual? is it two sporlan 48 cores in a 6x12? Is the sporlan 48 is 6 inches wide and just fits into a spool? which is preferred for passive? how much can a 20 lb tank of butane run before its saturated with h20 and causing issues with product running passive with no mol sieve or anything? what are the issues that will be seen trying to run without a mol sieve?

Turn your tank upside down and let it settle, before cracking vapor valve and bleeding off any water present.

We got our molecular sieve absorbent from here. https://www.deltaadsorbents.com/3A-molecular-sieve

Check out the Catch All replaceable core type filter driers starting on about page 17. We used a dual #48 element core. http://sporlanonline.com/literature/international/uk/40-10.pdf

The core is smaller than 6" diameter, but fits in a 6" shell. Some clearance is necessary for the cyclonic feature.

Passive doesn't care, it just doesn't like back pressure.

We service the cores daily, but it depends on how much water is present in your process and LPG.

Running without a drier typically allows water to build up, which both screws up your extraction and rusts your tank if it is a standard carbon steel DOT tank.
