close to harvest - some advice needed

So im 6 weeks in from seed on my lowryders and theyr starting to look like some tasty shit, smelling like heavens lawn now, most places say lowryders can be rooted after 8 weeks but im playing it by ear, when they look ready il rip n burn but i want it to be smooth smoke, last time i didnt flush and it was very rough.
lets say i have 2 1/2 weeks left, im still feeding with flowering feed and bloom stuff but when to i stop feeding and what exactly does flushing consist of?

flushing is when you put twice the amount of water thru you your plant to flush out the nutrients say you hav a 4ltr pot you put 8 ltr of water thru! and make sure tou stop giving nutrients so the plant can take its sugars from the leaves!

stop feeding it two weeks before harvest, and flush 2-3 days before harvest. good luck mate.

stop feeding nutes and water like younormaly would for about a week 1/2. and not doube the amount. just water with the same amout you always use. the double amount is only when youhave plant problems.

I'm also about 3 1/2 weeks to harvest. I'm still giving them bloom formula but have stopped putting in flower formula. My plan is to flush the system with 'sweet' for one week before I chop. I have heard many good things using this technique. Great tasting buds that get fatter in the final week as the plants use up all available nutrients.

bloom and flower formula are bloom nutes. and sweet won't do shit for your bud as in making it fattr. it will give it a bit of a blueberrry flovor.

so i should continue to feed this week with the flower and bloom then from next week just water them as usual?
iv also heard that in the last few days its good to starve the plant of water then water a final time a day or 2 before you root em up and hang em to dry, is this any good for the plant or just some bullshit? lol

leting it go with out watering for a few days just helps a litte bit with the drying timethats all. but you do want to harvest whan lights are off are as they just come on.good luck
