Clonner style system

Has anyone ever heard of a set up like the cloner system, only running it from clone to harvest? What would be the pros and cons of such a system?

Using the fill level to cover the pump and act as a backup for the pump should it fail?
It would be like a aeroponic and DWC combined. I am thinking it would or could improve growth. I am new so just thinking outside the box on this one.

It would make no difference. Ive done top fed dwc and just suspended dwc, results were similar. Aero is used for clones because their roots don't descend very far.

That's not why people use Aero systems for cloning..... lmao. It's ideal because of the water/oxygen ratio's and humidity.

Cons -
1. Your plant's roots would be entangled if you went with more than one plant.
2. You will have problems with plants being too heavy for a cloner system. (harvest specifically).
3. You might run into heat issues with a water pump.
4. Once your plants actually develop roots they'll just hang down and block the misters defeating the purpose completely and just adding heat to your res. Oh... and cal-mag is slowly depleted because of the water pump running all the time.
5. Why is a TLO (true living organics) grower asking about hydro?! (gasps

Pros -
1. You're trying to grow weed.

The added oxygen comes either from the sprayers and/or an air stone in the reservoir. The ratios are no different as long as you're preventing fungus growth. Its not specific to a "cloner." Not sure what you mean by humidity.. A dome? Domes shouldn't be used because they don't allow air flow. Proper humidity should always be taken into account.

I never mentioned a dome of any sort............ However my dome has 2 adjustable vents for air flow on opposite ends.

I am talking about AERO being a MIST. The mist having a high humidity makes it ideal for rooting. The oxygen isn't produced by the sprayers. I know whats in a hydro setup and I know how it works. You dont need to tell me the air stones supply oxygen..... The cloning system or whatever you wanted to use would need more than the foam circles to support plants of any weight.

Which fungus growth are you worried about? Because most issues are bacteria based...

Please do read about beneficial bacteria and fungi. Every plant has fungus on the roots =) if anyone knows anything about microbiology.

As you grow more and improve your techniques, you'll be able to ditch the dome and still grow healthy clones. Good luck!

Bro I have clones right now without a dome. I dont know why you are trying to bewittle me by acting superior. Get a fucking avatar. Don't say goodbye because I dismissed everything you said and supported it with facts.
