okay so im coming to the end of my first grow and i successful established a few clones during veg. my plants were flowering for 2 weeks when i started to experiment with lollipopping. Now being the person i am, i couldnt imagine wasting the cuttings that looked VERY clonable. So i attempted to clone the small flowering cuttings. Its day 10 and one of them is rooting. the other? well i tried the small tug test to see if it was rooted and it wasnt....came right out...this suprised me because the top actually looked greener and heathier.
my question is should i give this clone more time or trash it?

I've only had hit and miss success with cloning using rooting plugs and gels. To me it just seems like to many variables, seems like different strains take to cloning differently. I've had 100% success using bubble cloning methods every time. If I were you I would leave it alone and not pull it to see if it took. If you want to see if it worked you will notice new growth.

After you cut the 45 degree cut on your clone specimen, take your razor blade and scrape the "epidermis" off the stem from the cut to about 1/4" up....then take your razor blade and split the end in half, dunk it in the gel and coat it well, then stick it into your cube/plug. Easy peezy, never fails.

Bubble cloners are good so are aeroponic cloners.

I use aeroponic, cut, slice stem in half. Scrape put in cloner. 5 days later they are plantable
