cloning from a flowering plant?

Whats the deal with cloning from a plant on 12/12..I have a plant thats only been in flower 6 days and now im thinkin of takin a clone or 2 just for practice..its a bagseed so im not to worried. I've heard it will just slow the plants growth for a little while it recovers.

yeah thats true.... it doesnt matter how long you put the light on while its cloning
