Cloning from a flowering plant?

Hello - I was wondering about the possibility of cloning from an already flowering plant. Does it work well? And if so, is it possible to revert back into veg, or would I be better off keeping them flowing?

The little gals are almost 6 weeks into budding.

Yes, it definitely can be done but I don't know after 6 weeks flowering. Just change back to 18/6 or even full time light. It will take a while, especially with 6 weeks flowering. I just did it at 2 weeks and seems to be working.

you can do it. you need a branch with plenty of fan leaves. try to remove as much budding area as possible while still leaving the leaves intact. it will grow funky for several weeks but should straighten out eventually.

Great . . I've been purposely leaving some shoots on the bottom of plants with hopes of doing this. Keep your fingers crossed!

Look at my grow log. I took clones about 2-3 weeks into flower. They looked a little weird for a second but once they rooted they started shooting out single blade leaves then 5 and no we will see, re vegging is fine but the further you are into flowering the longer it will take to bring them back to veg state. High Times said 2 months at worst.

it'll work, it's just easier to use a veg.

Now a different sort of question: If I take a clone from a plant 6 weeks into flowering, will the clone act like it's 6 weeks into flower (if I leave it on a 12/12 cycle) and finish in 3 weeks - or will it act like it's on day 1 of flowering and do it for another 9 weeks?
