I find cloning Blueberry (dutch passion) in RW impossible, first the branches twist and the area where the roots form a white ball/bulb grows BUT root riot works better for me though it takes 2 weeks to show roots. I just hope cloning in soil is much easier because Im gonna give it a try soon.

Was that to me?

I just cant manage to get the roots established in RW. Could you tell me if you use any additives with freshly cut clones & at what PH do you pre soak your RW cubes at also humidity & temps in your propagator would be great.

Thanks mate.

I don't use RW just soil and wormcasttings and rootone. Its been 1 week now and there still alive. I just toped my plant and tryed to clone the cuts. My pH is 6.5 i use distilled was with a tad bit of nuts. Professional nuts and my afghanica's are growing crazy 33 days old..

This is what I meant when I said I had great difficulties cloning Blueberry in rockwool, at the moment Im cloning in root riot which works great although it take 2 weeks to establish roots.

Take a look at the pic...
This is what happens every time I attempt to clone in rock wool what are the curly branches & bent stems an indication of?

yea mines isn't a branch from the blueberry it the top. So i got to Bigg Buds at the ttop of my blueberry. Ill Post some pic in a week or in a couple of days and see what u gusy think Still Living not much growth of the clone just getting its roots probably.

WOAH WTF did u do to it? do u put a dome over it?
I can see why you say that but there is over 4inches of height room even when in the propagator with the dome on.
I just cant seem to clone in rock wool :?.

Hey about your avatar is that the Ninja I read about from one of the threads on RIU?

It does look like it needs more humidity. Are you misting it inside the dome often? My BB cloned well, took about 14-17 days in Rapid Rooters. I kept them in a warm dome and tried misting 3 times a day with a small layer of water on the bottom of the tray for the rapid rooter to soak. I did find the cooler the water and surrounding area of the dome was the longer it took to root. My haze was in a much cooler enviroment and took almost twice as long to root. You can see some of it in my journal if ya want. :joint:

Awesome, i just did the same thing on saturday. I cut the top off my Dutch Passion Blueberry and put it in a coco pellet in a bed of perlite, covered with a dome. Still looks just as good as the day i got cut it. Ill keep
you updated. Oh yea i just used Schultz rooting hormone.
