cloning clones

Hi uguys, ive never been able to figure when a strain is cloned out. I realize its not like an on/off switch but you would think there would be clear clue or sumpin. I usually take 24 then just before the 12/12 switch i take one from each to make my next 24 and so on. The question is how many times can you repeat this process? Im at 7 and no sign.

I have seen differing opinions on this. I have read that sometimes you will lose growth vigor a long way down the chain, but also have read that you can do it indefinitely with no consequences. If you are already running it like this, just keep your eye on growth rates, yields, and potency on each run and see if there are any variances. Personally, I have taken one to 6x cloned and saw nothing but good.

kinda what ive heard in the past, just kickin it around to see if theres more info. Ive also heard the photo period 24/18 thing can have effect but theres so many differentials a guy would have to document and control all to know. If it aint broke dont fix it...iguess

Might want to read up on some of the worlds most known hybrids , some have been made from the same clones from clones and this continues year after year............

Some of my most favorite cloned elites are well over 10 years old , some twice that and yet low and behold after hundreds of cuts they still shine !

A clone is just that, a clone. A replica of the original. A carbon copy. Completely and genetically sound. So what was the question?

I think they were asking if there is any degradation in quality and stability after so many repeat cuttings.. It's sort of 1 of those debates people have over something that will always continue.. Sort of like flushing, trimming etc.. I have heard both

If you take the genetics from one plant and make a clone copy of it; it is the same exact genetic makeup of the original plant. Period.

Any degradation is due to the grower and the environment the clones are grown in. Period.

I really hope this clarifies some questions on many fronts. Period!

GROW ON!

Yeah I suppose you're right. It's all up to someone's opinion if it's for them or not.
