thanks for this info. good job. you can put your cutting in water for a day or two. they will keep growing. i have been cloneing off two big pices that are just in two cups of water. they have been in the cups for two weeks. still alive i wanted to see how long they would live in water wit no roots. and when they started to grow not much. i started taking clones off of them. i got much better results good luck

Thanks for posting this thread.

My manz dropped me off 14 clones a few days ago. They seem a bit bigger than your post describes. Some of them are 6 in. tall already (King Kush)

I got 'em under the dome. I even got a little CO2 runnin on em. But, the tips of the leaves are getting yellow and the whole bunch of them are wilting slowly.

I think I got the Ph right at this point (5.5)

I'm misting with Spray & Grow

But, I'm really scared to lose my babies.

well your not supose to give them alot of fresh air that logh, I usaly mist my cloens and dome and that's all the fresh air they get, some will wilt so that's nothing to be woried about, I usaly expect to get 1/4 of the clones that I took to actuly root, the clones shoud be short with small leafs so that its not feeding the big leafs and alot of leafs insted of trying to root

My god!!!! 1/4 success rate??? I would be POed if I lost more than 5% of cuttings. How are you cloning? Something must be wrong!!!
no, I just say that I'm only expecting 1/4 of the clones I take to root and live, not that only 1/4 of them actuly do root and live, I just expect 1/4 to live at the min.

Still sounds like too low a number.
Even after culling the weaklings I get at least 80% new plants.

Me too. heating mat , tray with jiffy pellets , dome, no problems. I have the whole jiffy propagating deal, cost 15$ for my first, 30$ for my second(not on sale, damnit) .I liked the first well enuff that I bought a second so I could do large quantitys of clones to put outdoors.

I'm in the process of taking clones and I might kill off this plant just for clones, its almost 2 feet high and 5 months old

I just put the clone straight into the soil mix I'm using, a week later they all have roots, those jiffy pellets are a waste of money in my opinion. My propogation dome is a 2 gallon white trash can (cleaned of course) covered with plastic wrap!
