Cloning advice please help!!

Im growing a 3 month old texaida time warp plant female and gorgeous, i dont know what nutrients or mediums to put the cuts in, i know how to trim it and start growing but i was wondering if there was any off the shelf nutes i could use to grow the roots back, ive heard of juicy root and roots excelurator but they both arent off the shelf so i have no access to them.

Get some rooting gel, i use one called rooting compound. Also get a humidity dome to hold humidity so the plants don't dry out. I would either use coco cubes or peat pellets

most garden shops sell rooting powder of 1 brand or another, not my first choice but they work ok.

Ok sounds good does it matter what brand of compound i get? Also im pinching pennies as i just bought a house (hence the home grow and needing clones) would and empty cake container work the same?

I've had the best results in a mini Turbokloner with DynaGro KLN (full strength per the directions). I've also done ok about 50% using rockwool, clonex and a humidome. My problem was poaching the clones because of the heat. But if it's cooler where you are that may not be an issue. Marijuana has a bit of a woody stem tendency. So it's a little recalcitrant to root at times.

I try to take my cuttings from the bottom. Where there is less nitrogen. High nitrogen deters rooting. If I take a cutting from the top I drop it in a glass of tap water for a week. But if I try to root a top cutting without doing that it usually doesn't turn out well LOL. Experiment, take lots of cuttings and if you can't find something on the shelf just order it from the internet.

PS You do not NEED a humidome. I don't keep one over my clones and I got 100% time and again.

You can get rooting compound at any garden store dude, powdered and gel form - stick to the gel form.

cloners are very simple to build, i'm sure theres a few threads round here on the subject.
