Hello n Greetings RIU Family!
It's been some time since I've been here on the forum posting or asking my million n one noob questions, but here we are again! It's pretty self explanatory on what I'm looking to achieve n that's Clones n Cloning. As far as growing, seed to soil or even hydroponically, I feel that I have a decent amount of knowledge or enough so that I can pull a successful grow. In my mind, I figured the next logical step would be to learn all that I can about clones n Cloning, b4 I move on 2 something more advance like trying to create my own strain or the mix n mingling of strains n or different phenotypes to get my own select seeds going. So, that's the path I would like to eventually get to. For now, if any serious growers out there have any advice for this NOOB on clones n Cloning n how to successfully do so, a step by step wouldn't be frowned upon at all! Lol. I like to thank all n everyone from now, just incase I get baked n fail 2 do so at later date. No input will be taken as bad input, n all is welcomed. I only ask to be respectful to others that may comment n please try to stay on subject. Thank you n awesome grow to all!

Easiest method ive found was root riot cubes man, couldn't get them to stick before that, next would be sticking straight into soil. Aeroponic cloner machines if you got the money spare. I experimented with air layering and that came out well.

JD,
I appreciate you quick response to he thread. I do have the root riot cubes already n I'm now attempting to grow a mother plant at the moment. I'm sure it would probably be best to use a plant that on its own will grow medium to medium-tall, but in the name of experimentation, I'm going to use a plant that grows fairly small in general such as Bubblicious. If you can think of anything else that I'll be needing, your info will not be falling onto deaf ears. Once again, I thank you for your input n you have given me my start. Keep growing!

If you are going for cheap; use soil a solo cup and a humidity dome. Don't water the plant just water the humidty dome. Some cloning powder or gel recommended. Should be fully sprouted in 10-14 days. Using cfls or fluorescents.

If you have some money to spend or already have an air pump aeroponics/aquaponics is the fastest more successful method I have used.

This may cost $20 or more to build. You need a resivior, an airstone, an air pump, lighting, and something to suspend your plants over the resivior.

This is what I use

I really don't remember how much I paid for them but they were like 5$ each for 5 of them I think? Definitely not the ones I linked. Ordered from China. And they daisey chain together. Definitely don't recommend buying less than 5 as they flip over unless u daisy chain them.

You could also cheap out and use something as simple as styrophome. To achieve same result.

The best clones I produced were floating on a gold fish tank.

I hate goldfish and cleaning the tank etc. So I will say they were the best fastest biggest rooted clones I've ever made but also the most labor intensive.

The roots were growing to the bottom of a 60 gallon tank within 2 weeks. And we're great when I transplanted into hydro.

But after that expierence and watching my shitty .60 cent gold fish die due to my neglect I don't do it anymore lol.

Aeroponics with subtle nutes water would be my recommendation. I did like that the fish naturally produced the nutes keeping it ORGANIC but didn't like the up keep.

Cloning is not hard as I have even left a stem in water (in a clear cup)with powder and had it root.

Bigger cuts will result in better starting clones IMO.

Gentle lights 24 hours. Rooting powder or gel (some use both at once) in a humid environment and you are set for a high success rate.

Just an addition for cheap growers. I have not used this method but have a friend that swears by it. Dirt in a solo cup, rooting powder, and mists Ziploc bags over the top of the cups. Not even big ones they are sandwich sized. He keeps them in a small box too. And he has a great success rate.

Just throwing out a million ideas at you hopefully something can inspire someone out there. Goodluck!

Thank you guys for all the responses n all the info. I will definitely be putting it to good use when the time is right. I've search many other places n found a posting on YouTube that gives you 6 natural n household ingredients that you can start Cloning with. Thanks to y'all guidance, I know when it's time to clone, I'll be ok n not worry if I messed up or not. I truly appreciate you all. So, right now my plant is only 28 days from seed n I believe not doing 2 shabby. I've taken pics, but it's with the Grow light on since I don't have any other lighting in the area of the plants. Will take a better one in the daytime. I'm thinking of topping her soon n getting rid of some of that bottom growth of leaves that look like it's about touching the soil. Any suggestions on moving forward? Dos' or Don'ts? As always, you guys opinion matter n will be taken into deep consideration n never on deaf ears.. Let me know you guys input. Thankx n keep growing!
