i recently made two cuttings from a very good clone plant and i am wondering if they are supposed to look like their dying before they look alive again? i know it takes up to a few weeks to produce roots so im just wondering if this is normal that they are all limp and stuff?

yes they may be limp for a few days, but should perk back up a bit. and u will know when they have rooted because then the leaves will start to yellow, which means time to replant in fresh soil & start watering normally. It doesn't take a few weeks to root, more like 10 days.

just in case it hasnt been done, make sure you're using something as a humidity dome so they dont dry out ;)

yes i have a jerry rigged dome so hopefully thats is sufficient. and would you guys reccomend cutting the leaves? i was told to so the leave didnt take all the energy growing or sometihing to that effect, but did not cause i was very unsure? and if you will, how much water and how many intervals should be given to 1 day old clones?

depends on what system your clones are in

in aero or bubble ponics, they wilt less

many cut the tips of leaves but I cant see it helping them
the bottom leaves might go yellow and die, thats ok
try to take big clones
keep em humid and warm, dont let environment fluctuate too far
