Clones from flower. You're thoughts

Hey all.


just wanted to know other people's thoughts on cloning from flower. I know it can be again in the ass due to wait times but I just pulled a bunch from a flowering blackjack and wow the stem and node development on them is amazing. Still pretty small but their developing like they have already been trained/topped. Which I probably will be doing. So yeah anyone else notice this from flower clones is did I just get lucky?

Yup. Look up "monster cropping". Apparently cloning from flower causes that hormone effect where the plant acts like it was topped.

why not just take clones in veg and top then? lol. i clone in flower only to save a keeper from being lost. otherwise, its sll clone in veg for me

that's exactly why I did it, I just ended up thinking how they turned out to be amazing.

haven't looked it up yet but damn do they look good. Not to big yet but super dense foliage with alott of branching/nodes for their size

I'm with Hazy. I took clones from flowering clones/plants (~2-3 weeks into flower) and they are growing like they were topped (I have one that has 3 basically equal size shoots) or extremely tight node spacing (could be genetics because I've never grown/cloned this specific strain before) but I wouldn't take clones too far into flower for fear of stressing the plant too much.

Same here. Very tight nodes all around. Ill have to put some pics up in a day or two. There eventually going to end up in 3-5g smartpots in super soil all fem blackjack clone and the mother is showing purple pheno signs so hopefully the ss will bring it out even more.
